It was funny to see him keep throwing the 4th line out. See Brad, they don’t have to suck.
- Canada Cup

Well to be fair it was more Kampf and Gregor saying to the coach - see we don’t have to play horribly defensively and Kampf saying - see Brad I’m not where offence goes to die always

Both retaliated fights were worth every (frank)ing penny imo. Win or lose you stand up for your teammates no matter what...
- Buck Norris

Domi couldn't get his hands free, but the fact that he went after that poopbag after a dirty hit was great. The Gio fight was great, he bounced at least five clean ones right off Joshua's bugle. Not sure why Bieksa kept calling them clean hits. Kampf with a bloody welt the size of a baseball on his cheek and the only point of contact on the Robertson hit was his head.

Please. Keefe threw enough 💩 at the wall something stuck. You give him way too much credit.

Tree scrambled to try and adjust things on the fly coming in late. This is still very much Dubas's mess thats rinse repeat from the past years and just isnt that good.

- Roadrunner75

Agree. Tree had a ton of 💩 on his plate when he got here……and little time, with the draft and free agency coming fast. Next summer should be interesting! With the number of UFA’s on Leafs.

And he (frank)ing lunged into it with his arms to the chops.

Domi absolutely was instigating but Cole clearly should've also gotten a penalty on the hit. But in no universe should Gio have gotten an instigator penalty.

I think that is where we see some real change and shift in Tree remaking this team overall.

Expecting Nylander stays. You have Minten and Cowan coming but a couple years away. There's Lagesson showing nicely.

Right mow its pivoting on things and tweaking as we can here. Thats what Im curious to see what Tree does.

Take off your rose coloured glasses they were clean. Just enjoy both responses that fired up the team.

Enjoy a well played well earned win geez

Partially disagree. Second one was dirty with arms up to the head man. That one yeah, shoulda been called. The Kampf ine was all in Kampf skating jnto a brick wall getting stood up. It was clean.

They were beauty hits - in this league now they were penalties that went uncalled.

They won’t

It’s been 7 years. We know who this team is.

They aren’t Tucker, Roberts, Corson, Clark etc..

This team will always go back to system reset.

This is an established fact.

- Arctic_AARDVARK

Bad Tree could make a few moves. Unless it’s Shanny really running it.

Then you are probably right.

Maybe, but you never know. They could continue on their upward trajectories and make the team next year. Or at least one of them might.

I think Lagesson could be a real good #6 Gio replacement next season, if no one else is brought in.

Hit was high for sure so roughing. It wasn’t a shoulder or elbow. Grey zone maybe but height can show it badly. Robertson got his arms up to take the hit. Still 2 for roughing imo

Keefe is an idiot who wouldnt know what to do but you arent wrong in Reaves. He has brought very little and honestly the game type has to be up tempo. He just cant keep up. Need a younger gritty type.

Sad part is Marchment was ours.

Moving on ok

Out played & out worked. Well deserved win that the 3rd & 4 lines made a huge difference. JTM outplayed the AM line but the rest smoked us.

That what he is making now? Yeah likely not worth that but just was pointing out we have had on occasion that kind of in house player and we seem to ditch them, then go grab old slow Simmonds, Clifford, Reaves. Kinda stupid ya know?!

Nylander with the 15 game point scoring streak is the all time Leaf leader, now tied for 14th spot with Orr, Esposito, Jagr and Linseman. Only active player higher on the list is McDavid (17). Panarin has also scored a point in every game this season, he is at 13 games. Sundin is tied for 2nd all time with 30 , but he did it with the Nords.

We should have traded Willie for a 3rd pairing poopbag d-man that was picked in the 7th round.
