Down 3-0. If Holtz doesnt play the rest of the game next to Bratt, or atleast in the top 6, then Ruff needs to go. Zero excuses for not giving him all the ice time now, the game is likely over already.

I was a Lindy defender but I'm done with him. Lazar and Bastian on the ice when they need a goal, Holtz on the bench. For anyone who doesn't subscribe to Todd Cordell's blog, JP Gambatese had this little nugget today:

"Holtz has been more efficient at getting points at 5v5 than even Jack Hughes."

And...Can someone tell me what Palat has done since they signed him? Holtz is efficient with fourth line players...Palat does nothing.

It's so bad man. Holtz literally leads the team in goals/60 and points/60 at 5v5. More efficient than Jack, more efficient than Toffoli, more efficient than Bratt, more efficient than any other forward on the team. Only Toffoli has scored more 5v5 goals than Holtz, only Toffoli and Marino have more 5v5 points.

He's doing that playing with the corpse of Tierney. Imagine what he'd be able to do playing with guys who compliment him and can also produce. It's just outrageous that he was benched last night, just mind-numbingly stupid usage from Ruff.

I'd like to see his numbers with McLeod, he passes the puck well and often. Not even asking for him to be with Jack at this point, just with someone who wasn't saved from the scrap heap.
