its strange that almost everyone on this site has seen the decline of certain players as imminent yet management continues to hold on to them way past their expiration date. I would put guys on waivers and or work any deal that gets them out of here even if it means later round picks. We do not have a ton of value with the age of some of these guys but bringing up some youth would be a move in the right direction rather then keeping these guys in the lineup.

Lee has a full NTC until next year anyway. Frankly, a buyout of that deal is favorable to the Islanders.
