I was thinking that if they lost last night how this place would be for 5 days we dodged a bullet

Seriously tho, it’s tough to find much to complain about this year. What they’re doing without Fox and Shesty is pretty impressive. Chytil too because 3 top centers is almost as important as anything else these days in the NHL. Lavy has them bought in and hungry. They’re definitely hungrier under him

FYI I don’t think Gus, or anyone on a 1 yr contract, can sign an extension until Jan 1. Am I correct?

Is he really this good? Its crazy.... he just makes good plays all over the ice. Reminds me of Stralman a bit.

Sorry to bring it back to hockey lol but if you think we have 5 on 5 problems, realize that the immortal Sam Carrick has more 5 on 5 pts then Conor McDavid does. Sam has 5, McJesus has 4
- Slimtj100

The difference being that Carrick will finish the season with 18 points and McDavid will have a down year with 118.

I fully expect McDavid to go off no doubt. Definitely the crux of their issues is him struggling so bad.

But, I’ll be surprised if they don’t trade Leon because that what they need to do imo. Very top heavy team. It’s like they’re in the NBA. Get a boatload of picks and prospects for him while McDavid is still young. They need quantity not quality. They have really good top end guys but the rest of the roster is the pits

They seem to have said, "well Pittsburgh made it work with 2 superstars!" Forgetting that it only worked because Sid left money on the table for them to fill out the roster. I haven't seen that here.

Holland hasn’t helped really tho either. Chiarelli too. I can’t remember if they had someone in between them but their front office is never to smart. Nurse too got what 9 million bucks, sheesh

Yeah, it would’ve been rough losing that game last night. Felt like the fix against us was in 😂

Couldn’t agree more with you. I truly thought .500 at this point would make me happy with a new coach and system. Lavs really has everyone dialed in, and it’s a pleasure to watch. They’re competing, they’re structured, and lines are formulating all sorts of chemistry. It’s been a remarkable start. I expect some hiccups to come eventually, but I’m confident in this team and this coach going forward

I find his trash mildly entertaining, but some crap that he writes is just nonsense for clicks.

The whole foundation of civilization at its more earliest, at its core, was dependent upon a man's ability to provide food for his family and tribe. The ability to make fire and cook on fire is about as primal as it gets. Cultures were founded on food and the best chef's in the world that made that food were men.

Entertaining in the sense that it's fun to mock him, sure. But otherwise it's just bait for insecure, low-IQ idiots to weaponize their stupidity.
