That’s where I’m torn. I love tk’s game. I think with the right line he could hit 35 or 40. Sick skill. But yes. If we can get a boatload, then you have to. You want to talk skill. The other day vs Anaheim, hard pass and he’s close to the right dot on forehand. One times the pass coming from his left and puts it under the bar. Omg that’s a hard play to execute. Absolute skill. - Hextall271
I think that's where I changed my mind from seeing him last year...he doesn't have to play with the "right people". Last year he was able to drive the line and produce no matter who he played with. The first time in his career I saw him step it up. A lot of players can produce with the right linemates, TK is becoming a player others want to mooch off of.

Shot attempts with Frost on the ice 7-1. Frost with 2 individual scoring chances. Goals 2-0. xGF% 76.71 Scoring chances 6-1. Faceoffs 3-1
What do you have to counter that? To show that it's a narrative? - MJL
It sounds like frost is betting on himself and looking at earning his next big contract with his play. I'm cheering for the kid and I hope Torts let's him have a long leash to really showcase his talent |

I'm just hoping for continued steady growth. You can see the skill and vision he has on the ice. Capable of playing well away from the puck. Just completely absurd that he was scratched for 6 games. He was all over the puck in that first period. |

I can see that. All I care about is that we get a boatload for guys like tk and hart. You put solid teams around these guys and they are gonna kill it. For hart, it takes so long for a goalie to get to their peak years, you don’t want to develop the guy, sell low and have him become an all star. Fans from the leafs, oilers and habs all tell me they’d take him in an instant. That tells me a lot. |

I hope this will be the consistency from him going forward. He has shown flashes of his skill level and I just hope that he is finally putting all of the pieces together and becoming who most of us hope that he would be.
People use his age against him but forget that he had major injuries at a young player. I think he is finally hitting his stride now.
I'm glad he was mature about his benching and has come back as more of a TK than as a Hayes. It says another about his character, imo |

Of note, I still can’t believe how we lost last game so badly. 40 to 15 and we lost 5 2? My god.
Holy. Tk could easily have a trick by now. |

Just thinking that. He couldn’t score on a $ 10 hooker right now. Haha |

He's not scoring but I still like what I see from him. Getting some chances and he doesn't look like he's having confidence issues. Still up on his skates and working.

I said it last year's TDL and the offseason, I would take TK over DeBrincat and Bertuzzi. Whatever those trades involved have to be matched and more for demand.

If Tyson can get a groove and bury one that's going to make TK even more dangerous

Db, ask for the moon. Otherwise keep them. There are going to be desperate teams. The leafs and oilers for example don’t have a never ending window. |

If Foerster was burying goals, Frost would have half a dozen assists by now on the season.

I remember Leaf fans saying they didn't need TK because they got Bertuzzi
The poor man's TK...is he regulated to the 3rd line yet? |

Leafs fans are absolutely delusional. I know lots of them. The play for years has been to trade nylander in order to get a stud dman. They just keep rolling the same cast out there and also don’t have a goalie. Last night vs Boston is all you need to know. Liljegren gets taken out by Marchand and hurt. No one steps up or cares. In playoffs they’re toast. |

They have dominated the Sabres for all but 5-6 minutes for 5 periods….they are just out working them. Ersson looks to be settled in…I dropped him yesterday from my fantasy team..lol…I smell a shut out. |

Not sure the deal with Ersson, maybe he just needs to believe he belongs. The beginning of the season for him has been one of the biggest disasters I have seen in years.
