TK will have 9 nhl seasons under his belt when his new contract kicks in. That isn't a young player. He also has never scored 35 goals. My bad pace.
Hart is not great.
Right where? How many on the current D or in the organization will in the top 6 when they are "contenders"? The current forwards struggle to score. Why will that change? - hello it's me 2050 TK has 40 goals in his last 71 regular season games. Yes, I know it is over two seasons, but he certainly could be considered a 35 goal guy per season as of late.

Frost last night. He was excellent
At 5 on 5
CF% 66.67% GF 2 GA 0 xGF 56.68% SCF 10 SCA 5
4 individual scoring chances for the game. Multiple quality scoring plays created for his linemates. Solid defensively.
And the kicker on what you are ultimately concerned about 4 for 4 on faceoffs including 2-0 in faceoffs on the PP |

Of course they will, bonk less but another the team will have a good idea what they have in Cutter and have pretty good idea on MM, where they fit, nothing is 100%, then or. Trading tk for almost nhl ready and picks, TK seems to be the only constant. They land a top D, via draft or trade, changed things. Again, not easy, threading the needle but for the first time in a long while they have options. - wcorvette
The decision likely has be made next Summer. At that point, Gauthier may have played a handful of games and Michkov is still two years away. Bonk will have played zero games.

Why do you say no way? Think about the potential trade partners? What kind of team is going to want to deal for a 26-27 year old player who needs a new deal? A team that thinks that they can contend and he is a missing piece. That means any first round pick you get is most likely a later first round pick. Any prospect is likely from the same. Chances are you can get a deal similar to the Giroux deal. A good pick and a good prospect but chances are it won't result in getting elite talent. If the Flyers aren't going to tank, which I don't think they will. Might as well re-sign him. - MJL
You make a good argument and you may be right, but I just don’t see giving an 8 year contract to a 28 year old (I think that’s what he’ll be when the next contract kicks in) player that isn’t a star. Wouldn’t have done it with Couturier either. I think the Flyers agree with you and he’ll stay here. I’m not upset about it. I like the guy. |

I don't see the Flyers committing to the requisite rebuild needed. If they were going to then trading Konecny makes sense. If they're not, I guarantee they're already getting their competitive juices flowing. Then might as well re-sign him. I'm looking at it through the eyeglass of what I think the Flyers perspective is going to be.

You have a reading comprehension issue. My statement was made after the first period. A period in which Frost was a dominant player. The facts back that up. Overall, Frost has an outstanding game last night. He was all around the puck. Had a number of quality individual scoring chances as well as another handful of high quality setups for his linemates.
You don't know what you're watching. That is well documented. Your recent comments of Ristolainen is the Flyers best defenseman. McAvoy is not an elite defenseman, Sanheim SUCKS as well as a recent statement that you just see it with Farabee as he has 5 goals and 4 assists for 9 points in 11 games and is a +5. These are just the most recent examples of your ineptitude. - MJL
Outstanding game? Frost? Are you kidding me? Frost was just another player last night. His linemates both carried the play. Yes he was good on faceoffs and good defensively, but is this what the bar is now for Frost? I want to see him consistently getting pucks on net ... and .. oh .. I don't know .. maybe get a point every once in a while! |

Your post is completely empty. Devoid of any intelligence or facts to back it up. Frost had a very strong game last night. I supplied the facts to you. I truly and honestly wish it was possible to educate you on this game. I really do.
Maybe get a point every once in a while. LMAO |
