Funny thing is if Jarry isnt "unpredictable" like I think he got right, and has over a .900 SV% every game, which shouldn't be asking too much of a starter who just got paid and term, then the Pens have won more and he's not in here ranting all the rest of the sh!t he's saying hahah...because they would be winning more. - MattStrat
Four Goal Jarry just doesn't have that ring to it.

Crazy to call a guy who should hit 1000 career games this season an oft injured player. - Feds91Stammer
Yeah, he's missed more than 5 games in only 3 of 13 seasons. That's about as durable as possible in the NHL. |

How does it seem I'm crying? hahaha
I think the only things you got right in that cry rant post were "Carter is cooked" and "Jarry is unpredictable"
If you spent any amount of time around here you'd know I'm not delusional about this team, not before the season started and certainly not now. Myself and others around here had a lot of questions about how this would play out and not one person around here thought they were a true contender this coming season. A lot of people thought playoffs for sure though, I still had my doubts.
Crazy thing is I said multiple times in the summer, with a 50% roster turnover, it was a lot of new pieces to hit the ground running. Despite this they're actually playing better than I thought they would to start the season.
I know that people like yourself are incapable of looking at nuances or having any kind of critical thinking regarding hockey. Its either win they played good, lose played bad. So, there's no need of entertaining your posts anymore. Its a fruitless endeavor. - MattStrat
Apparently you haven't been watching the penguins the past years? Critical thinking? By you calling me a cry baby, I see your age. Agreed your to immature and mind numbing. Dubas is a young GM and I like the hire. However until sullivan and tomlin are fired expect the same results. I see it's going to be a new excuse now? They got new players...Whatever??? They don't get new players at the trade deadline? Enjoy the pansies until sully is fired. I"ll watch the lightning.

Anyone that follows expected goals like the Bible doesn’t do much critical thinking. The Pens have played bad, too to almost the bottom. Carters done his job, if the rest of the vets could follow suit that would be great. |

I don't know anyone who watches hockey, especially on this board, that follow expected goals like the bible.

Cry harder, fair weather fan.
They dont turn over half of their roster at the deadline, no. Just another dumb comment.
For the record though, I'd be totally fine with a Sully axing haha and agree it could help...if the PP was clicking at a rate of 20-25%'ish (currently 14%) or Jarry was making one or two more saves a game we're not even hating on each other right now hahaha they're above .500, if so. |

Is this better? Penguins suck because of sullivan. The steelers suck because of tomlin and canada. There you go.

Go back to the basement dude. I swear you hate lambert, ham and green? kasperitais, goddard and gary roberts? Did i wake up in the wrong city or something? Being 56 I'm tired of watching the same crap every penguin game. Heck I'll go to a pirate game before a penguin game. At least it would be something different and not the same shtick on the ice.

Geez, Zohorna and Hinostroza going back and forth. Hoping we see Hinostroza replace someone on the 4th line |

What exactly has Carter done? Not saying he’s the problem but he’s definitely not part of the solution. |

I own a house with a basement but I generally only go down in it for my music studio, home gym or to scoop out, or change, the cat litters haha.
I loved when they got Roberts. I love players that play hard and physical but for me they must also have an IQ and be able to produce a little. Roberts certainly had all of that...though he did come over very late in his career. I hated when the Pens had to play against Kasper, loved when they picked him up and almost hit the fvcking ceiling of my living room when he scored the game 7 OT goal that eliminated the Sabres in 2001 hahaha
I can agree the Pens have been mostly hard to watch this season, and last, for sure. However, I just know that if they're winning you, and others, are not here ranting about this sh!t that you say is so important to you.

Oh he's a master of the defensive zone who goes out to win all kinds of faceoffs.
Reality: his line usually gets pinned, produces jack sh!t, and every single game this season he has only won 1 faceoff, with the exception being vs the Avs when he won 3... |

I agree that Carter on the ice isn't close to the Pens biggest issues right now, however his 3.125 mill cap for what he isnt bringing definitely is...

I agree, hes not killing us defensively, but getting 4th line play out of a 3M+ cap hit is just awful.
Not sure whats up with Rakell but he is not meshing with Geno it seems. Geno and smith have some chemistry but rakell is just kind of out there floating around and not actually doing much.

A Rak switch is the very LEAST Sully could do. He got 10 games to see if there is a fit and there isn't.
Forcing a fit that is detrimental to the team is idiotic. If Rusty keeps playing this way he'll fit fine on Geno's line. We need Rak scoring, not drifting around aimlessly. |
