Blaming the coach and the Captain. Not sure how many played on here. I played triple A, JrB, college.
Coach and captain light you up in these situations. Someone has to light the spark and someone has to carry the torch

Philly goes down 2-1. Torts is animated on the bench towards his players, as he should be. His team then proceeds to outplay Buffalo 95% of the rest of the game.

Only time I see Granato animated is when the Refs calls some junk.

Torts, adjusts to Buffalo. Philly proceeds to outplay Buffalo. Donnie did not adjust. He hasn't figured out how to effectively do anything against a trap in the year and a half as a NHL coach.

The Sabres are going to have to find ways for some of these kids to play, especially if they lock up Mitts. There are just to many and you can only let them bake for so long. Either you figure out a unconventional bottom 6, even L4 or you need to use some for other areas of need Top 3RD. I really don't see the problem with having a couple of these kids playing lower in the lineup and rolling 4 lines of Speed. Most of these kids coming up have better 200ft games than some on the roster right now.
