Benson is going through a nagging injury, which suggests why he hasn't been playing every game.

but don makes it sound like he wants him playing every game. they'll make a decision on him after game 9 (3 more).

Benson looked completely out of play vs the avs on Sunday.

Send him back to juniors. I just don’t think he has the speed to keep up at the NHL level. He’s only 18. So not blaming him or saying he’s bad

Bring up kulich and see what he can do. He’s been amazing for roch. What more can he do?

This was an example of a game where the expected result was vastly different than the actual.

Half the team got caved. Overall I think Benson has acclimated pretty well. He can hold his own and I'm pretty excited about his future. He may need another year though.

Savoie has 2 games or until Saturday to remain in Rochester before the org needs an answer from the CHL

That is true about the Sabres being out skated. But I guess my point is.

The Sabres want playoffs. Kulich has done enough in the AHL to take bensons spot. Kulich is way more polished and physically ready. He could step in and help instead of being a developmental liability.

If this was last years team …. I would say let Benson and savoie go at it and give them playing time

And by no means do I think Benson is bad. He’s just young. Needs to add some muscle and speed and good to go

Not one of those guys (in roch rn) showed the Sabres they were ready to start here.

They'll almost assuredly get games. But we're looking at 24-25 for maybe a pretty hot 4 way between benson savoie kulich and rosen.
