What it would take if he was moved. I could see Adams being scared away because of it, but he would make your top 4 pretty solid. He would be someone you pay the price for. And if Calgary decides to blow it up, even if he isn't available I still might make a offer that might make them think about it.

Agreed in Olo's case, they should've traded him for whatever they could've gotten at the TDL. If no one wanted him, buying out or trading for future consids would've been acceptable. With Bryson, I think you just waive him for the depth. Wasn't enough $ to matter and he's fine helping out in Rochester if he went unclaimed IMO.

Next, Sabres have 25M in cap space next season. Let's put Mitts at 6, 4th line at 6, ryan johnson as 1, krebs at 1, nylander at 8.5, joker at 3.5. Puts you like a mil over, with coming extensions to quinn, peterka, levi and signing upl or someone else.

Sabres aren't renting that caliber of player unless they're fighting for the division lead.

You're trading a winger to keep him. Move doesn't make logistical sense. It's hard to even make work for next year unless you're trading JJ or JQ. Even then it's a challenge. Trading Casey here doesn't make sense at all.

Think this team is better served looking at redoing the bottom 6, primarily the bottom 3.

Funny how many here wanted to trade JJ last year because he was a bust... was never going to amount to anything.

Kyle Okposo spoke to Cale Makar briefly after the game and explained that he wasn’t trying to push him or apply pressure to cause that collision with the end boards.

Okposo tried a stick lift, then intended to skate around Makar to the right. Okposo was relieved Makar is OK.
