I honestly thought Benoit Pouliot was gonna be something else. Was so god damn disappointed when the wild grabbed him right before the Habs picked.

Dodged a bullet there!

I just go super megadown on all picks and prospects now, because it hurt so bad in the past so I use defensive pessimism as an emotional regulation mechanism

Thank goodness the Leafs didn't have a draft pick in the back half of the first round of the 2007 draft, because I would have grabbed Angelo Esposito.

FFS, he was supposed to go first! Sure, his stock fell, but how bad could he be?

I don't even watch the world junior tournament. I wouldn't know junior hockey players if I was being gang raped by them.
