Woll appears to play big, seems positionally and technically sound. Seems to anticipate well and is athletic enough to get across and make so saves. He seems to just get into good position and let the puck hit him a lot. I like it, but with his style will come some cheesy goals. Likely the kind that slip between the arm and the body which will bring out the goalie critics.

Because he didn't earn the goal. It was given to him. It's rare that top tier teams screw up the PK coverage that badly - and you do know this.

I can appreciate that we're winning and still see the bad things we're doing.

This game is highlighted by some snipes, some bad goaltending from Kuemper and on our side - each line had a boat anchor causing problems with the puck: Jarnkrok, Bertuzzi, Kampf and Reaves.

It's hard to get a 5 man unit moving the puck well when one of those men is constantly missing passes, unaware of passes (the Kampf special) or missing assignments.

They can be way, way better.

I'm super glad they won.
