He had some issues with OCD and that's what he was in the program for. At least what I can tell, if he can overcome that, he has the talent to be one of the best in the league. Him and Oettinger aren't far off, potential wise.

He actually provides more flexibility than any prospect does

I like the idea of sending a player who doesn't do his job well out the door for a top 3 defenseman.

I'm sure other teams are looking to deal a quality defenseman for a player that doesn't do his job well.

I think you first look at why you failed, and adjust through weaknesses. Olofsson is already outta here. If Kyle and Krebs project this way through 82 games, they need to do something. If Jokiharju is average Jokiharju, they need to do something.

They have the ammo and ability to upgrade those areas. A lot of that doesn't even require those big boys in a swap out.

This year I would hope they start using some picks to upgrade maybe Krebs and Kyle. Another org may be willing to see what they can get out of Krebs and we can buy a short term defensive center on a higher cap.

Very good points, but if he keeps playing the way he is he is more Valuable than that prospect for a different needed piece. Can the prospect that replaces Mitts be a viable option and given the chance does he run with it.

If Adams spends to the cap paying 4th line larry's for 1 year each its ok, doesn't hurt the team.
