I'd want to see many more seasons from everyone you named (Peterka, Quinn, Levi, Johnson) before deciding to commit a long term, big deal to any of them.

I know we're on the same page. A team friendly deal for Mitts, at any term, is far from a given. That said, it's not hard to see him extending all the RFA's: Mitts, Joker, UPL, Krebs. and Bryson then taking the summer off again.

I hate UPL but he was oustanding tonight. Golas 2 and 3 were caused, surpisingly, by Samuellson having his head up his own butt and not coevering the guy in front, Goal 4, the refs ignored a blatant holding the stick on ottawa #71 that changed the whole play, then Power ignored the front of the net. btw, man des refereeing suck. The fell for Steutzel's 3 blatant dives and just seemed to be homers all game.

Aside from Bryson, I can see them extending all 4 of Casey, Jokiharju, UPL and Krebs.

Only question would be if they also bring back the same pair of 4th line residents as part of operation call it an offseason 2.0.

Girgs hasn’t been bad this season.

Why a team that has this much talent holds onto Olo when you can bring in Murray or someone else from Rochester and save money. The team is soft, talented but soft. Greenway plays like he’s 150lbs.

It would be entertaining to watch Katchuk try to fight Murray.

Murray is a huge man, we were up at Dinosaur BBQ in Rochester and Murray Kulich Rousek and a few others were there. I am about 6'2 and Murray made me look small. Very wide individual, his shoulders are huge.

- Benson is fading shift by shift into unnoticeable IMO. Give him the 9 games, he had a great camp. This roster is desperate for a different type of player in that position.

- Let's see what Savoie brings, the way the roster is set up, it makes sense to give him NHL games.


Savoie and Benson can be used interchangeably, the day Olo is waived is the day I know Adams is actually trying to improve the roster.

The Quinn return should tell us something. Gives a few of the Rochester guys a few months to acclimate and get their game going, which makes Olofsson all the more expendable. Really do think he's the first to go. Especially if Benson and Savoie aren't kept.
