I agree completely. He seemed content being rich and was mostly opportunistic. This season he’s on a mission.

To me you leave the top 6 alone. Don’t touch it all year. When those two lines are rolling the Rangers can beat any team in the league.

The bottom 6 still needs tinkering. I know Vesey was GGs boy, but I think the third line should be Cuylle - Trocheck - Vesey. Jimmy V was solid in the top 9 last year, but that was under Gallant. Wheeler isn’t cutting it and he really brings that line to a stand still sometimes. Hed be more effective on the 4th line banging bodies and chipping in that way. He doesn’t need to be waived or anything, just less of an on ice role
