The rangers played a similar home opener last year vs Tampa but this team looked different. Way more control and possession of the puck. Better neutral zone play. A sound system could help them big time. Might have been lafs best game as a ranger

Played against him a few times in high school before he moved over to Avon. He was incredible, by far the best player I’ve played against although I may have played against Pacioretty and Ben Smith when younger. Probably 0/20 against him on faceoffs. Turned our home games into an away game because the whole town of Farmington followed him around. 91 pts in 24 games
