Just looking very quickly, Colorado Buffalo and Calgary all have some skilled with some grit players, and the grit players aren’t goons. There is no issue with that - ClaudeFather
I don’t particularly see the point of high quality prospects playing 8 mins or so on the 4th line, but ND is a waste of a roster spot. Allison with Hathaway and Poehling would actually be a pretty good 4th line. |

ND played 10 minutes last year, torts plays the fourth line. In Tyson’s case he also has already played in the AHL. He could be on the fourth line and also play Powerplau |

Do you seriously want Atkinson on the 4th line? wow! - jd250
Cam has zero future here. Instead of having ND and playing that line 8 minutes maybe you improve that line by playing 12-14. Either way the 2 rookies need top 9 time to see if they are ready.
I know wow what a concept. How dare them put Cam on that line. What a slap in the face

How would Allison help? Trip over himself for 8 minutes until he gets hurt.

It's 2023 and there are still fans in love with the idea of dressing a dedicated goon? Yikes.

Understand what you are saying, and don’t care as much about the slap to cam but let him perform so we can trade him for higher value (prob next year). It if they are moving someone down I do it with Laughton. |

They've done their market research. Out of all the analytics data the Flyers have the only seemingly useful data points they use are the rubes that have been buying into the same crap for 40+ years. |

“Waive this guy, send this guy down, put this guy on the 4th line” lol you all crack me up with your interpersonal skills.
A) you need to do right by a guy like Coots and give him a team worth playing on. Talk about slaps in the face… if this guy is gonna stick around during this “rebuild” you still have to give him a team he wants to wake up and play for.
B) same goes with every other pro. Players talk. You want guys to never come to Philly because they treat their NHL pros like trash, demoting them and burying them in the minors/4th line? These are still people you are dealing with. What you think is a massive leap in the rebuild and “player development” is tantamount to a slap in the face to vets/mid career pros and for what? Throwing some kids on the fourth line with zero rhyme or reason? How does that help their game or this team other than losing? |

What talent did the 4th line have last season? This seasons 4th line is more talented and will play more.

So Comcast has determined that the best way for them to maximize profits is to have a goon on the 4th line? You don’t think they are aware that having a good team would be more profitable? They’re not outsmarting their fans. They're just bad at running a team |

I'll never get a response about the CEO thing cause he knows he's wrong. And when he's wrong he quickly shoves it under the rug like it never happened, but when someone else is wrong he will NEVER let them forget about it. Dude must have insecurities galore. Eh what?
On another note, Dak is the most overrated QB in the entire NFL! Every year the Cowgirls get picked to go to the SB by the pundits and every year that dude falls on his face. Just pressure that guy and he crumbles like a stale cookie. Thanks! - Phillywhiteout
bruh we know you're a cowgirls fan you were bashing the eagles early in the season |

ex selke deserves to be on this slop team. He willingly choose to re-sign. No you do not have to give him a "team". Flyers need to do what is bets for the flyers. So g ex selke.
Philly is not a destination and won't be for a while. Yes players talk and that is why they will stay far away from this schit show.

They realized a LONG time ago that staged truculence and 70s nostalgia (and more recently 90's nostalgia) are enough to cash in big time.
They market harder than they actually try to win. |

Winning brings in money but if you can’t win you need a gimmick. Teams have to evolve with the game.
Top six bottom six is now top nine and a 4th line. Next trend could be 4 lines that can score.
2 on 1 became 3 on 2 became 4 on 3 became 5 on 4.
