Morrow blew the opportunity twice on that series for a turnover.

Nice play calling, BJ. 1st down from the 11 of Rams, up by only 3, runs alwaays getting 3+. Tush push unstoppable.

So, of course you will call 3 dropbacks

No, it's actually the opposite. Staying out of LTIR and staying under the upper limit, gives the Flyers more cap space to work with down the line. Cap space under the upper limit is bankable. LTIR cap space is not. Secondly and perhaps more importantly, LTIR is not even available to the Flyers right now once the season starts.

If we agree that were 5 years away from even icing a team worthy of a cup, then you use all assets you have to gain picks. This includes eating other teams bad contracts for a year or two (see the million picks az has) and weaponizing our cap space and LTIR space. We need as many picks as possible the next 3 years so do whatever it takes to acquire them.

Also we don't really care about banking cap space atm as were not a playoff team looking to make a pick up at the TDL. We are the seller not the buyer so why wouldn't we use all the space we have and get picks in return for that space.

Give it to Swift and Kenny for christ's sake! Call a qb draw! Run a screen! They are not gonna get 10 yards on 4 running plays?

With all due respect and no offense intended but you don't know how the salary cap works and you don't understand LTIR. First of all, LTIR is not currently available to the Flyers. Now or once the season starts. The reason why they do care about banking cap space is that staying under the upper limit will give them more potential cap space to use than by being in LTIR.

Let me give you an example. If on day one of the season, you have 3M of LTIR cap space, you can take on a cap hit of 3M. At the trade deadline, with that 3M of LTIR cap space, you can still only take on a 3M cap hit. LTIR cap space is use it or lose it and is not bankable.
If you have 3M of available cap space under the upper limit, on day one of the season you can take on a cap hit of 3M. However at the deadline, you can take on a cap hit of an estimated 11M. Cap space under the upper limit is bankable and the total of cap hits that you can take on, grows as every day of the season goes by

Too far away for a first to run that twice. Should've run a "normal" run play on 3rd down.

I am deeply heartened by the D play in 2nd half. Especially that exchange between Robe and Bradberry where for once the backs managed to switch off and hand over correctly. And that Desai is bring blitzes to disrupt unlike Gannon

Interesting that they play Eli.

On the other hand, Slay/Bradberry are showing signs of decline.

I am still not seeing a superbowl team (which is the pov from which all my criticism is based) but things are looking up and I was pleasantly surprised today. I had Rams covering spread.

They gave up 14 points. The defensive line is not playing at their best yet and the linebackers are subpar in coverage from last year. The Eagles red zone offense has not been good. Yet here they are, 5-0. That shows how good they really are even though they aren't clicking on all cylinders.

What's stupid is your asinine reply. As well as your lack of reading comprehension as I clearly also suggested Laughton as an option. You're also not smart enough to realize that's it's not about who is a 4th line player. As both Laughton and Atkinson are better than 4th line players. It's about creating a spot so both Brink and Foerster, two young players with a future, can both play full time in the top 9. You're also stupid for suggesting that it's about who is Tortorella's buddy when clearly I stated, as it is the main reason for why I suggested Atkinson, is because he is 34 years old.

Your agenda is to just come at me. Lucky for me, you don't start your brain when you do. Now I'll await you whining about someone being condescending to you when you do it repeatedly.

Again, I tend to keep things simple which bothers you apparently. Atkinson is NOT a 4th line player and age is irrelevant. Laughts would be a perfect 4th line center on a contending team. He's playing way too far up in the lineup for a player of his ilk, but that's cause the Flyers suck. Just go look at their average goals averaged per season. Atkinson is a top 6 forward while Laughts SHOULD be a 4th liner. Thanks!

Wow, you really are gonna beat this dead horse until it is a carcass aren't you? The Bills got over to England on Friday morning while the Jags had been over there for two weeks. The Jags were well rested and ready to go, and the Bills looked sleepy (I was able to watch the game on NFL Network). We'll see how the Birds do when they play the Bills. Learn the game! Thanks!

No you don't bother me. I laugh at you. Again, it's not about Atkinson being a 4th line player. When you're a rebuilding team, age is certainly relevant. How can you say it's not? LOL. Laughton would make a really good 4th line center but he is not a 4th line player. He is a 3rd line player in this league and a contender is not likely to want to pay a player 3M a year to play on the 4th line. Again, it is not about what player is what. It's about with the salary cap and the roster issues, how do you make room to add in young players that if they're going to be on the roster, they need to play. Not sitting out games or in some rotation with another player. Tough choices have to be made to do that. You have trouble understanding that.

No, not everyone, just you. Maybe a few others. I have no issue with Laughton being traded which is why I also named him as an option. You have trouble grasping that even though I've told you that multiple times.
