So it sounds like he may have choked her.

That’s not good at all. She told police when she called 911 that he tried to choke her. This new info from the police report states that officers observed redness around her chest area.

This sucks, what a terrible (frank)ing thing to happen, and what a terrible way to end such a great career with the Bruins.

Obviously innocent until proven guilty, but this doesn’t smell good. Not sure how any good outcome could come of this for anyone.

not sure what to say but just have to wait i guess..as others mentioned, would be a sad way to end his career but if he did dumb stuff, then Bruins have to do what they have to do

A week or so during a Bruins game, he did a mid game interview with Jack and Brick. Great interview and despite his injury was thrilled to be back in Boston..

Jack took one too many drugs this year. Should've given this to Goucher when they had the chance

I ride with Jack and hope that when he does step down, it’s on his terms.

That said, really hoping they can get the Gouch back when that time comes. He’s a perfect fit.

A jury trial? Jeeebus

With all the libtard commies in Boston who knows what can happen. Figured this would be thrown out and he’d be skating this weekend..

Right?? if Lucic were black, this would have been thrown out by now if he was even charged at all.

Florida very streaky and hot.

Good first half lots of positives but they need scoring depth and some more grit..

Hopefully Lucic can get cleared but they might need some other help

Not good, he got an NHL taste. Needs a bit more bulk.

Lysell and Georgie or some trades.

Lucic hopefully back

Interesting..Charges against Looch dropped..

Judge didn't allow 911 call to be used as evidence and wife didn't want to testify..

Time to lace ‘em back up

Will be interesting to see what happens here. The Bruins pretty much erased his entire existence from the organization.

Honestly, unless there’s a hockey trade out there …. I stand pat right now.

Bruins are not favored to win the CUP so rentals make no sense. Selling also makes no sense because they’re still pretty darn good and it would send a terrible message to the players and the fanbase. A loser’s mentality. Bruins aren’t either, they are somewhere in between.

I roll into this postseason with what they have, unless again, if there is a hockey trade out there to be made. Maybe get some of the upper tier prospects involved in the postseason for the experience. Reevaluate everything in the off-season and go from there.

basically agree..it is decision time on Jake tho...let him go for nothing? im not sure he would resign in Boston...he can be a difference maker, but so (frank)ing inconsistent..

keep both goalies, get Lindholm back and see how it goes...its not like the other teams dont have flaws either...goalies, while not spectacular lately, still the best tandem in the league me thinks..

Ultimately, Bruins should move on from Jake in my opinion. But unless there’s a hockey trade to be made, I hang onto him through the playoffs. See what’s available after that before July 1st. I don’t think he holds as much value as we would like to think he does.

Eight players are due to become unrestricted free agents after this season: Grzelcyk, Jake DeBrusk, Derek Forbort, Kevin Shattenkirk, Milan Lucic, James van Riemsdyk, Danton Heinen and Anthony Richard. The Bruins will also be free of the $4.5 million overage penalty that came due this year because of Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci’s 2022-23 bonuses.

Total cap clearance: $19,796,500.

Sweeney will not have all of it available to spend. Of the eight-player UFA-to-be cohort, DeBrusk is the player the Bruins would most like to re-sign. Sweeney also has to budget for the raise due to Jeremy Swayman, whose one-year, $3.475 million arbitration award will require refreshing.

Jake not worth what he’s going to be looking to get. Gryz either.

Heinen and JVR have been great. I’d resign either one at the right price.

Tarasenko to Panthers. Eeesh no bueno

I like the idea of Lindholm at center but wondering who goes out. Given the haul that the Canucks sent out …

Yeah, I hear ya there. He’s probably the best faceoff guy available and that’s what they need more than anything. Would take quite a haul to pull it off though, not sure it’s worth it this season.

Per Darren:

Let’s keep an eye on Washington and veteran Joel Edmundson. The big left shot Dman has a number of clubs circling. Toronto, Tampa Bay and Boston to name a few. As of late last night, the Bruins seemed to have the inside track. See how the morning unfolds.

Not sure how I feel about this. 30 years old, bigger cap hit at $3.5 million on current contract although actual is $1.75 this season. UFA.

My gut is saying pass unless the asking price is cheap and you can resign him for cheap money.

Not the season to be blowing assets on rentals IMO.
