Not waivers exempt. And if the rangers gave him away for nothing, I'd go nuclear on this blog. Not nuclear towards anybody, but towards the organization. Because there was a move they made this pre-season that end a transaction line. That made me laugh but also annoyed.

I am fine with Cuylle making the team. I honestly don’t want Othmann on it. Let him go to the ahl and play first line minutes and dominate. Then with all the confidence he can come up in a few months. If he starts here he may be penciled to 8 mins a game on the 4th line. It does no good for anyone. Plus you need to give Laf a real chance in regular season games. You are not writing him off cause of preseaon lol

You’re probably right. Do think Othmann deserves to make the team, but based of role/fit it’s best he starts in Hartford. Good problem to have I suppose.

I agree, because even with how disappointing Laf has been this pre-season, some GM would claim him for free there is no doubt in my mind. A team like Chicago, Anaheim, and maybe Ottawa would claim him.

I think thats how they start the season unless chytl cant go. I also think the rangers 3rd pair D is better then the slotted 2nd pair defense. Gus liooks better than miller and trouba hands down

We can’t really afford to trade a (at min) 40 pt forward making under $3m right now. Even if he never takes the next step that’s a value contract that we need with our cap situation. Can’t see the return being worth it

Florida announced per Freidman, Knight to the AHL. That whole situation seems less then ideal.

That miller.trouba pair is so over used and more of a 3rd pair really. Jus tnot good enough defensively. Hope Schneider/Gus force Lavis hand to play them more

Yes.

Edit: I like Brodzinski. But he's probably applier not good enough in the NHL but too good for the AHL.
