I used to, couldn't wait for September. Then I realized they pretty much suck ass every preseason

The Rangers went 1-5 in the preseason while learning a new system with a veteran core back in 2013-2014. And they were horrendous early on. They only went to the Cup final that year. #NYR #GlassHalfFull

Voros hasn’t been a Ranger since 08-09. Does t feel like that long ago.

That season was where we had Pouliot, Brassard, Zucc, and Hagelin all as key secondary contributors.

Sounds like Quick should be gone and Laf is not proving he should be in the line up. Cuylle and Othman standing out. So 2 pluses and 2 minuses means right on level

Yup. but that line was probably our best line at the end of the season and in the playoffs. Brass and Zuke were magical together that year

We suck seemingly every preseason.

It's no fun to watch other teams do well and have to come up with excuses for why ours stinks it up. Does it end up meaning much once the regular season starts? Not so much, but I do think Quick is a huge concern.

It was incredibly obvious to me as early as GG's first preseason that there was no system or structure in place and that we would win mostly in spite of him, which we did. I feel more optimistic about Lavs as a coach but preseason woes become more concerning as each year passes due to the aging of our core coupled with the lack of anything significant from the 3 young guns that are supposed to become key pieces as the vets age out.

I just don't like how people act like they can't understand how fans take preseason so seriously. That's not what's happening so much as it's just annoying to watch them suck in every aspect of the game while other teams seem to have no problem getting it going, even a tiny bit.
