True, Zib is also underrated as a play maker, I just don't want to see Kakko pass something up if Zib is feeding him. He definitely seemed to be shooting more towards the end of last season, which was great

Is this a good omen or a kiss of death? Idk, but it's strange they just posted these 3.

Oh that's right, Elon changed that stupid website's policy.

Edit: It's just a slow-mo video of Zib-Kreider-Kakko celebrating at practice.

It’s why I snapped up Kakko with my last fantasy pick this year in my big money league. Gonna be on the first line and eventually the first PP I think. Breakout year for him

The first PP is gonna be tough to crack. Doesn't seem like Lavy wants Zib taking draws. Gallant and Quinn did the same thing. Not a shot at Zib or Lavy. Just seem like organizationally they have decided against doing that. But get Kakko (and Laf) more top 6 time and their production should increase.

Kakko will have the best season of all 3 I believe. He has a great work ethic on both sides of the puck. Hes a bit unselfish, but you see that a lot with younger players. This is his year.

Kakko is playing for his next contract, so I suspect you are right, if he wants to be a rich man.

I just talked with a guy in my office yesterday and he asked me about Rangers. He has Kreider. We checked and no one had drafted Kakko, so he scooped him up. Should be a decent waiver pick up!!

He didn't have anybody blocking the RW for majority of season last year. Gallant just refused to move him up.

Laviolette sounded encouraged about Alexis Lafrenière, saying, "His last few practices have probably been his best."

He looks set for the 2RW assignment, but PL doesn't think singling 13 out is fair: "There are a lot of questions about him, but this is also a team sport."

But, this doesn't matter, since Brooksie has already labeled him a bust.

Leafs finding out fast how much better reaves is in theory than in practice. Love him but he brings nothing to the actual game

I think a lot of people, me included, see 1OA pick and compare him to previous number ones. It’s an irrational thought thinking he were supposed to get McDavid. Or now Bedard. We’re lucky to win it just not the generational talent year. Anyway, to me when I compare #1s to Laf, if his ceiling ever hits Landeskog, I think we’d be ok with that. Landeskog had never lit up the scoreboard, but he’s a leader and tough to play against. And a captain. I think with Laf lowering the expectations is probably the best bet. He been underwhelming due to certain roster circumstances out of his control. To label him a bust right now is just unfair imo 🤷🏻‍♂️ it’s too early

If we're being honest, he should probably be publicly executed
