just feels so leafy
Bo thrown out by an amazing throw..questionable go on that..but perfect play to get him
Chapmans out was 400 feet, but he Minny 2hr was 385
I do feel better about the bullpen if they managed to get an 8-1 lead this time....tho
also..people blame managers to much. at least the overall effect they have is not a big as people make it seem. but I get it they want to have a single point to blame - senstroll
It's obviously not all on Schneider - but there are a number of times this year where I think most managers would have done something different. Whether it's taking out a pitcher on a roll to bring in a lefty for the lefty-lefty matchup that goes wrong 70% of the time for him (maybe he's playing the odds, but he's got crap luck), or leaving a guy in who is clearly struggling, or taking out a lineup player to pinch hit for him (mostly Varsho) to make us weaker in the field . . .there are a number of things he does repeatedly that don't work out well and that I don't think most people or managers would have done either.
On one hand you think, "Is he a player manager so he can get the best from his guys?", but his actions with pulling people at various times just don't speak to that.
Regardless, let's hope they put it together tonight. They have the pieces, but they just can't or won't put it together.

It’s not Schneider’s fault arguably the best pitcher in the AL freaky friday’d with 50 Cent.
This team wasn’t exactly how they thought it would turn out to be. It never is.
It’ll be the same with the Leafs.. Burtuzzi looking like Nick Ritchie wasn’t what we were hoping to see. Can our goalies win us games? Probably not at the consistency we want to see. One player will surprise us. I hope it’s Klingberg. |

You’re right, it’s complicated.
Luckily, the smart guys at Exxon accurately predicted in the 70’s that CO2 emissions would lead to dangerous global warming.
Unluckily, they used their financial and political strength to deny these predictions and convince law makers to continue to throw subsidies at the oil and gas industry. |

Mankind’s greatest achievement will be figuring out how to get everyone all on one page. We’ll learn everything at some point, and we won’t be able to debate “facts” like we do now. There won’t be ppl like Max or Drexel. If they get any stupider they’re a suicide cult. |

I wasn't referring to simply yesterday's game but a trend since Schneider took over as manager. Now with regards to yesterday, Gausman wasn't his best and someone or something has been tipping his splitter or his fastball, but the offense managed 1 run. I don't care who pitches, you have to score more than 1 run.
As for Bertuzzi - it's the preseason. Chill. Bertuzzi has a history of success. Nick Ritchie never did. These two are not comparable players.

Would be nice but it’s easier to get people riled up over stupid poop that makes them feel better than to think through complicated issues. |

2015. Ivermectin improved the lives of millions of black and brown people, but certain white people called it horse paste. I wonder why. |

Lol.
1. Ivermectin is great at killing parasites and addressing tropical diseases and has saved millions of lives.
2. It is not effective in helping with Covid.
3. It was pushed as a way to deal with Covid.
4. Many people accessed the veterinary applications of the drug (horse paste) because they had been told it helped with Covid. |

I like to freebase horse paste and fish pills. Best (frank)ing high ever. Better than adrenochrome.

Yes, I had read that as well. Looks to be quite effective against Covid. Same with HCQ.
I would bet anything anti-bacterial/anti-fungal/anti-parasitic would assist as well. Stuff like tons of garlic, oregano oil, silver colloids, even good old raw honey. Not backed up by any research against covid, but they have all proven effective against a ton of poop, plus no side effects other than really bad taste for most of them. |

An article in which one of the authors is a principal of a company trying to commercialize the use of ivermectin for treatment of Covid?
An article that refers to 3 clinical studies of the effectiveness of the drug using cohorts of 100, 117 and 200 people?
An article that doesn’t mention the New England Journal of Medicine, University of Kansas Medical Centre or others that used cohorts of between 1500 and 3500 people and that showed no better results than the placebo?
Yeah, I read it the first time you posted it. |

To be fair, I read a bunch of other crap supporting it as well. I didn't bookmark it or anything, but there is way more support for it out there than that one study. Much of which is very recent as opposed to that one. |

Easy solution. Don't ask your doctor for the drug when you get COVID next. I don't really give a (frank). If people want to ask their doctor for Ivermectin, monoclonal antibodies, zinc or fentanyl, that's their business. |
