Weird how Leafs aren't saying why Jarnkrok is missing from camp

Mike Augello: Cowan Making Impression In Loss To Senators - mikeinbuffalo
can you start the "Leafs top 40 or 50 prospects" daily prognostication tomorrow - so that we can get that noise out of the way before the season begins?
this would also allow us to see if you have some insight to offer of your own... or you're taking notes off websites - since camps haven't wrapped up yet?

TJ Brodie & Jarnkrok to St. Louis
Paryako(1M retained) & Bolduc(2021 1st rounder)
St Louis is clearly cleaning house - and getting rid of most of Paryako's long term deal helps particuarly next year. Jarnkrok would be a loss for Toronto - where it will be questionable he gets anywhere near the same amount of Top6 time he recieved last year - meaning he has more upside in the Blues roster than the Leafs. Leafs might have to sweeten with a 2nd rounder or potentially add one of the European prospect defenseman to the deal.
Leafs get some CAP relief and get physically more robust and a natural right side D man.

I can't see any reason St Louis would make this deal.

I think his name was Holland, or Percy or some poop. Holy (frank) he was a hidden gem of the draft in those couple of preseason games. |

Lol former Indian diplomat claiming Trudeau's plane was full of cocaine at the G20. Does the guy know we had a crackhead mayor and we have a hash dealer premier? He probably just handed The Hair a majority with that rumour. |

Your first problem is using the Burke era as any point of reference.
Would have been better off picking a player at random. |

to be fair to recent years of Leaf prospects... a) they were all drafted after the 2nd round b) with Dubas drafting there was only 1 or 2 who grew after they were 18 so they ended up with a pool of 5'8" 150lb guys c) they never got near the ice during the pre-season because like Marner & Matthews wanted all the pre-season power play reps.
and its hard to stand out when you're 5'8"

There is no way anyone with that name can ever fail at anything. |
