Ottawa hasn't signed Pinto yet because they are at or over the cap. Any deal would have to include Flyers taking a bad contract.

That would not prevent them from signing Pinto right now. They can sign him and then make a move coming out of camp later.

I don't think its Boosh. He didn't divulge his name but he did say its a prospect they are getting impatient with. I think its RHD JB -Docker. Drafted 26 overall in 2018. Very talented but not there yet.

Just watched Torts presser from today and man I absolutely loathe this man. He's playing around with old school games with Frost. Talking about how he needs to get into the top 6. He's easily one of the most skilled player makers the Flyers have and fills a very needed role this team sorely lacks. But he's going to continue focusing on ridiculous peripheral elements and force Frost to tick a slew of boxes he really shouldn't be asked to tick at having paid plenty of dues at this point IMO.

I have no issue with pushing players across the board to play better equally and fairly. Which often doesn't happen under Tortorella. I do however disagree with the insinuation that Frost has not met expectations to this point. In my opinion, he absolutely has and should be getting praise and positive reinforcement at this point. Which in part of his statement there, Tortorella gave.
