If they send him without giving him 9 I'll be a bit upset. Guy played his way to the opening night roster, played as well as anyone else. If they send him after 9 then that's fine, but reward players for their success.

A great problem to have, a lot of talent that can play.

I don’t think he’s physically ready for an 82 game NHL regular season.

He has done enough to earn his 9 games though.

Yeah like we talked about.. not probable for Johnson, he'd have to be excellent throughout.

He's not that dynamic. Kane is a high, high standard. But you know that.

I'll have no problem sending him down after 9 and telling him to focus on gaining weight and muscle, like they did with Reinhart. He'll go back to juniors, be a big part of the WJC, and him and Savoie (and maybe Geekie) can have a great season in the WHL. But not giving him a shot in the NHL just seems wrong. Let him play, let him get a feel of the real game, let him see what he needs to improve and show that he belongs.

Still feel this way if he gets hurt? If you don't think he's physically ready for it, that should be a big concern.
