Yeah, writers, actors, rail workers, truck drivers, auto workers all felt the need to strike because there was too much socialism.

Majority of which are striking due to inflation.

Who controls the supply of money ?

Private businesses ? Or central banks along with government intervention ?

Have we seen an increase of government influence the last few decades or a decrease?

Who locked down the global economy for a few years ? Forced many small business to close ?

Stock markets have been spoofed for decades, several fines have been handed out to JP Morgan amongst others for spoofing certain sectors at different times.

Covid was a scam, a mechanism to transfer money from the poor to the rich. The Ukraine War is a sham, transferring money from the middle class into the pockets of socialites in Ukraine.

No different than the government setting Hawaii on fire.

But hey Taylor Swift showed up to the Chiefs game so that’s enough to keep us all distracted for another few months while we’re sleep walking into quite possibly the next Great Depression over the course of the new few years.

The Great Reset though amirite.

Housing prices are down 30-40% across several of the Greater Toronto area cities since the peak of 2022.

I guess that also makes me an idiot for not buying when the vast majority called me an idiot on here as well.

Many things can be true at the same time.

Ukrainians can be in a literal existential fight against an insane dictator.

Our government can test weapons systems against a "near peer(lol)" military without endangering our troops while at the same time allowing the Ukrainians to fight for their existence. Just like we did in WWII with the Lend Lease act shipping billions to the Soviets and British to help them fight off the Nazis until we finally got involved(in Europe) 5 years after it started. When was the last time anyone said that was a mistake?

Opportunistic defense contractors can make insane amounts of money off of the fighting.

None of those things add up to "sham".

No, they called you an idiot for being married and living with your in-laws when you could afford to get an apartment, but not wanting to because "it's expensive". Yeah, bro, sh¡t's expensive, yet you got married and had a kid. No one told you to do that.

I am just so exhausted with these ignorant morons who don’t read, study history or comprehend how the infernal machine operates.

I love my country but I hate the USA. Some understand what that means. One is Anakin Skywalker, the other is Darth Vader. Darth Vader betrayed and murdered Anakin Skywalker.

The rich got richer during COVID. The poor got poorer. Money got shuffled around. Our leaders didn’t fail us, they robbed us.

But being ignorant is a choice. Being dumb is a disease.

The war started in 2014 when the US backed a coup to overthrow the then elected president of Ukraine leading to wars within the countries borders.

The war has always been between the US and Russia.

War is a very easy way to launder money, especially since Ukraine has only received a portion of what has actually been claimed to have sent for aid.

600k at 7% costs more than 900k at 3% over a 30 year term.

Definitely more than a free ride though 😆

Please, tell me more. Your wisdom knows no bounds. I heard you just made partner at Dunning Kruger.

The war's been going since 1991 when Ukraine declared its independence. Perhaps the first shot was fired in 2004 when Viktor Yuschenko was the target of an assassination attempt because he wanted closer ties to Europe and NATO; sound familiar? And then the election was a sham and had to be re-run because Putin's puppet Yanukovych rigged it.

Canadian mortgages get renewed every 5 years.

Even if you had a fixed rate mortgage in 2019, you’re about to go from 2.8% to roughly 6.5% in short order.

People on variable rate mortgages have been getting crushed the whole time. A lot of these people may actually be negatively amortized at this point and not paying off any of their principal at all.

Canadian housing bubble is much worse off than the US was in 2008.

Treasury yields just hit the highest level since 2007.

Need I say more ?

Depends, I think Rousek makes it which would make 13. Would need a couple injuries I'd think, but you could be right. Really depends if they're willing to pull Olo out if he's floundering. They may want to try and pump him up for a more lucrative return. If not, either an injury or a few rotational games while pulling Rousek out could definitely be done.
- QuinnFan

Pumping up Olofsson's value to get a more lucrative return hasn't worked for 2 seasons.

What would magically make it work this season, when every team in the league knows he prefers to play in a non-contact jersey?

I see a lot of comments about Rousek being an almost automatic lock for the 13th forward spot.

Why? What has he shown this preseason that indicates that?

Biro's play has put him in the driver's seat as the 13th forward, especially when you look at the contract situation between the two.

I don't understand what Kulich has done or shown this preseason that would earn him a roster spot out of camp. He seems obvious to be sent to Rochester again.

He was hyped.. yes. He is a big boy covers the net. That doesn’t matter as much in the nhl. His movement isn’t good enough with this team. If we had a better d system he would probably be ok. With the right team he could have decentish numbers.
- IndianaSabresFan

One of the biggest problems UPL has is that he doesn't cover the net well as a big guy.

He plays small.

Johnson looks so Calm out there compared to Bryson.

Biro has earned the 13th forward spot so far through camp and preseason.

I'd keep him and send Rousek to Rochester.

Easy decision with their respective contracts too.
