Parents lived on the east side when they came here. There streets were all turned into the ghetto. Its sad.

They are extremely happy that the muslims came here and turned things around the broadway market area. And for a bunch of catholics polaks to say that is remarkable.

I'm working with a Rwandan couple right now to rehab a former convent and church on Emslie near Larkinville. They both came here, went to school, started a successful business and decided to rehab what's left of the former campus as a way of giving back to the community. It's going to be 10 apartments in the convent and office space in the church.

Pretty sure the Sabres promised levi the starting goalie job and a good number of starts, when levi could have left the franchise and chose any other nhl team as a free agent out of college.

By signing with Buffalo in April his entry level contract ends 2 years earlier than if he held out a year+ and signed elsewhere. He was never going anywhere except Buffalo. Johnson is a different story and I was a bit stunned he signed with us. The way he's been playing, I'm glad he did.

He really is astounding. I'm not sure if he's the first NCAA goalie to play 4 years and then skip the AHL entirely, but he'll be one of a very small group if so. Sky is the limit. Agreed, as TO announcers said, "Sabres got them a goaltender".

Well for us, maybe it wouldn't have been for him. I think he could become a important part of this team. He has the skillset to become a good partner for Power, just has to reach it.

One piece you're missing is Levi would have signed a 2 year ELC next year, which means burning last year wasn't all that significant to his decision. If they were forced to trade him, like Portillo, he'd be in the exact same boat.

Portillo is in the 2nd year of a 2 year ELC, and hasn't played a pro game.

Im 1st generation. Parents came here in the 70’s spoke no english, still barely speak english worked sh*t jobs, dad at most made $18 a hour in a steel mill after 30 years.

All the other minorities quit after weeks cause the job was too hard. There probably still complaining now. My parents stuck with it cause the whole idea is to give your kids a better life than what you had. They Have house and cars payed off and prob a mil in assets. How? They got that because they white?


We the people definitely did not mean everyone back in the 1700’s obviously. White people got a head start. There is no changing history.

Why are all these minorities still flocking here? Why are asians doing so good in america? Why are all these south americans and mexicans crossing the boarder in record numbers? They are minorities right?

Have you drove in the east side lately? You see all these Bangladesh muslims buying up these blocks and actually making them livable. How? Think they building a million dollar mosque down there also.

So when you say minorities which one do you mean?

But please give up your spot here in the USA. There are lots of minorities that would kill for that american citizenship. Do the right thing. But you wont. Your just gonna be a loser and complain that the system is rigged.

And god forbid you have offspring, you will teach them to hate the USA and say the system
