Agreed, his cuts across ice in the neutral zone were a sight to behold. Having a 2C that can move like that will be nice for the next decade.

upl is (frank)ing cabbage

It happens every now and then, same as the stick save where it deflects up and hits the notch at the end of the paddle and into the net. Happens. Fluky goal that was definitely counterbalanced by strong play otherwise. Rebound control was much better, he isn't ranging as far out of the net and is finally keeping his glove hand higher.

The naysayers are blaming him for letting up a goal when the other team pulled off a 2-0 while on the PK...there's no fixing them.

Yeah that sequence was terrible. I think Levi will quickly surpass UPL on the depth chart, but overall we can't hold UPL to the fire each game.

In a perfect world we would trade for a win now goalie to take pressure off of Levi but I don't think the right trade will be available. I think UPL will do better with more consistent work.

Craig Anderson retired and is most like a some

And in the nhl in 2023. You need 2 good goalies. Hellyebuck or Gibson would’ve stopped anything

A rookie goalie expected to play 60-65 games is not a great plan.

He really is astounding. I'm not sure if he's the first NCAA goalie to play 4 years and then skip the AHL entirely, but he'll be one of a very small group if so. Sky is the limit. Agreed, as TO announcers said, "Sabres got them a goaltender".

You may very well get your wish. I don't know how but it really looks like he took another step this summer. Whether he makes it to 40 is anyone's guess, but I hear he's one of the hardest working guys on the team and takes nutrition super seriously...so there's a chance.

Kelly played in college and held out playing for the bills to play professional football.

He is not, it's Levi, UPL and Comrie I've been saying it for months now. Never was looking at Goalies. Levi is the man, you will see UPL and Comrie rotate.
