Ok so I posted just a day or 2 ago I had more than enough Leaf jerseys........I am at the office today so went for a walk to clear my head from yet another mind numbing teams meeting just before 10am.

Remembered Leafs equipment sale starts today at 10am at Real Sports so wandered over.

I did the bad thing again but it was 40% off all jerseys so I couldn't help myself AND it's a goalie cut which in themselves are hard to find).



They had quite a few game worn jerseys, practice jerseys etc. no big names but a few regulars and mostly prospect etc. Good prices at 40% off though.

I also nearly left with another set of goalie gear. Thankfully the fact I take the GO Train in/home made me decide that was not to be.

About ten years ago, I got a top of the line ($450) CCM helmet with a top of the line ($200) Oakley half-visor. Cost me $100.

Every other helmet was $400. I asked the guy why it was so cheap - anything wrong with it?

He told me that it didn't have any numbers on it, so collectors have no interest in it if they didn't know who wore it. He figured it was probably from a rookie camp.
