I just figured that’s why the floaters were not out in hoards. I have no reason to look up football scores. That’s also why I snowboard on sundays.

Same here. In-game stats of think like controlled zone exit % and the like wouldn't add much. If you wanna sprinkle it in when necessary that fine, but this seems like something that would be best used in the studio.

Most of the people I know who play and/or watch a lot of hockey don't follow the analytics much at all....or at all haha.

EDIT: however, I feel as though if they were given a good gateway to it, a lot of them would like it and get into it...find it interesting. I remember bringing up a lot of the Leafs (great) underlying numbers from last season to a pretty much predominantly all Leafs fan locker room back in April when the playoffs started and a lot of them looked at me like I had 2 heads hahaha

I think it's a useful tool for the peeps in the business, and I don't mind when you guys share it at all it can be interesting. But yea for the most part I don't look at it haha.

My prediction to this season is the Pens get off to a slow start, not just the team overall, but the Jake-less Sid, new EK and Smith, year older Geno and Tanger...they all have slow starts and medias and opposing fans hop all over it like a fat kid on a Smartie....
