Boudreau on the floor of the casino in Vegas on Sirius ... didn't know what day it was when they called him haha.

- he was pretty frank on how close Pearson was to end of career ... DeSmith trade seems even better now considering we could have got nothing at all
- said Pearson was the glue of the dressing room and they missed him a lot ... can be read into the divisiveness in the room
- admitted canucks didn't have a capable backup when Demko went down and DeSmith should solve that

I was impressed with Woo he had good outlets he’s bigger than last year and mixed it up, I thought cole was solid and well Myers was the chaos giraffe. Demko looked good moved well and stopped everything Topilio was good as well.

Every time I watch Hughes skate live I’m amazed he has such good feet, Hirose is like a Hughes lite and looks to have jumped Rathbone on the depth chart. Soucy shoots a tonne and is big as is Matt Irwin. Podkolzin with Miller and Boeser, Hughes is paired with Juulsen

Getting your own staff to lie is one thing but convincing a clinic to pretend one of your players is going through rehab at their business is another. Plus, I doubt the player want's to pretend he has a dependency or something that tarnishes his character. In fact, in his prime, he most likely wants to play hockey and not let the team use him in a risky "the dog ate my homework" quality scam. It's a lose lose situation for him.
