At least he is getting ice time.
I wonder if he has competent line mates. I honestly know nothing about sochi - Bob Habib
Like Frosty, I'm sure the evil manipulative Russian coach is playing him with slugs//stiffs/neanderthals to sabotage his career. |

Like with Frosty, you seem to be uninformed. Michkov is no longer playing on that team with the evil manipulative Russian coach.

Nah that was the SKA coach . MM is loved and adored at his new team
At least that's what I heard on the internet from the internet people |

My bad...I don't follow Russian hockey. He is on loan so does that mean he can go back to the other team at some point? Also, I assumed all Russians were evil...I saw a lot of Ivan Drago and Nikolai Volkoff when I was younger.

Why no Andrae last night? I thought he was the best defensive prospect? Hasn’t he earned the ice time? Why is he being treated like this! Why is Tortorella playing these mind games with young players? Free Andrae!
Im practicing my internet outrage. Got to get ready for the season. |

I remember as a kid being led on that Russian women were crones, too. Man, we’re they way off. |

No worries
Why reply with an insult when you're clearly being silly about it anyway? It's just fun hockey talk
Admittedly I know little to nothing about Russian hockey and which players are good and which are not as well.
I just hope MM is in a spot to succeed and can show what he can do |

Well, the KHL changes its rules whenever they feel like it, but the rule about loans to other KHL clubs is that it's for the full season. Players can be recalled from VHL (minor league) loans but, from one KHL team to another, it's the full season.
Michkov is still under SKA St. Petersburg contract until the end of the 2025-26 season. The loan expires at the end of this season. |

Nikolai (aka Josip "Joe" Peruzovic) was Croatian/ Yugoslavian in real life. He actually detested the communists and was extremely proud to have later become an American citizen after seeking asylum in Canada when he walked off the Yugoslavian national weightlifing team during prep tournaments for the 1968 summer Olympics. I had the pleasure of meeting him twice and he was a very kindly and personable man.
The other most successful "Russian" heels were Ivan Koloff (born Oreal Perras but also known as Jim Parris), a French Canadian, and "nephew" Nikita Koloff (Scott Simpson), from Minnesota.

I've watched and listened to many interviews with Simpson on wrestling. He is as American as can be.
