Tough love is coaching. Do you think the league lets him back in if he was more than just being an bumhole?
- manvanfan

Literally yes. The NHL is an old boys club, they have extremely loose morals behind the scenes.

To say what he did to his players in Detroit and Toronto was tough love tells me you are either lacking information or empathy.

Fair enough. I thought he played with EP & Kuz for the majority of his time in Van no?>
- Sayros

At the start yes. At the end not that much.

Time for Canucks to dump some of these expiring contracts for the third line players. You can get that same type of player a lot cheaper.

One of the best there is imo. He's definitely top 5 for me.

Are you suggesting he takes chicken sh1t and turns it into chicken salad?

Babcock might never have been out of the league had he not been mean to Marner.

Poor Marner, couldn't handle Babcock taking him down a couple of pegs.

Cheech was such a homer but I did like the passion. I think his replacement is going to be Ferarro

This is why analytics were created and wildly used by teams and agents to gauge their players contracts these days.

I'm surprised at your growth here though, I really thought you would have gone less than a million.

Walsh from the NHLPA is in CB right now talking to all the players.

Given that the NHLPA traveled to Columbus to meet in person w/ the team on this, it’s fair to assume concerns about the alleged conduct have escalated. Also reasonable to expect the union will canvas players from Babcock’s previous stops to assess whether this happened before

Clb players have already put out statements that it wasn't anything.

I have said many times my wife is a psych nurse. She disagree's with your assessment and we have talked about articles and things that have been said.

She said different people will interpret his actions in different ways but it's not actually abuse.

Sorry, I'm new to the proof reading thing again. I type 80 wpm. My accuracy is sometimes not very good. In the 80% range if I'm really cruising. (Which before I hit send saw that it changed cruising to causing.

So the way I was taught is that is you're getting words wrong or making mistakes it's not actually 80wpm.

I can maybe do 50 wpm now, but I had to do 45 wpm in HS in order to pass grade 9 typing.

If I'm getting everything correct or backspacing to correct everything I'll still do high 60's. I have a grade 8er and my god she can't crack 15 wpm. So we have the touch typing course's and everything to help her improve.

He has his favorites, usually it's his stars that he'll give the vast majority of ice time to, anyone who struggles/is on the tail end of their career or else replacement level AHLer he's hard on. You don't win several Stanley Cups, Olympic gold medals and World Championships if you're a Richard to all your players, but he's definitely a dinosaur and believer in the Bobby Knight school of coaching.

@CoryMcQuhae

So, from what I've heard about Zlodeyev is that he was granted a release from his KHL contract a few weeks ago. Wouldn't be surprised if he ended up signing a deal with the Canucks (probably AHL).

So he is auditioning at camp this year for an NHL or AHL contract?

3rd liner Beau must go but more expensive 3rd liners, like like Mikheyev Garland and Boeser should be gifted positions.

Beauvillier is the only reason I might watch a few Canucks games this year. Seems to be the only player who applies puck pressure on this team of candy-asses.

I am sure if they do trade Beauvillier, they can find a Swedican to replace him.

Go Canucks Go.
