Jarmo's only claim to fame is he won three trades with Stan Bowman. - boilermaker100
He was also smart enough to take a pass on Jesse Pool-Party, and did the fan base a solid by holding on to Brovovsky and Panarin for a playoff run even though he knew they weren't coming back.
If you want a good laugh, look up the short term CBJ mascot Boomer. After noticing a striking resemblance to the male anatomy, keep in mind that at games it would shoot white t - shirts into the crowd. |

Another one of those things that always drive me nuts.
Every time a commentator talks talks about him, they treat him as if he's some kind of genius, I just don't get it.
And i'm not convinced he won every trade.

This prompted me to look at the trade history with Tampa. A few that stand out:
Gudlevskis to the Isles for Verhaeghe. Somehow Tampa let him get away for nothing later on, though. What could have been!
Sergachev for Drouin
Bishop for a package that included Cernak
Corey Conacher and a 4th for Bishop in 2013!
3 way trade with COL and DET where they gave up Downie and netted Detroit's 1st and a throw in. The 1st was used for Vasilyevskiy

A month with 28, 29, 30 or 31 days.
You'll need to know to start a proper countdown......................

Doubtful they trade any young dmen any time soon. If they did, they would get a prospect - forward or other position - with flaws. We would not get anything better in a prospect than the quality man
Prospect we trade.
Kaiser and Korchinski will not be traded. The other dmen will have opportunities to develop and make the team. Some may wind up moving to another organization but I doubt that KD trades any of the kids any time soon. The prospects who fail to make the grade here likely move in with little or no return value if they even get traded.
There could be a situation come along like the Boston trade but more likely they move on when KD determines they have no future here. KD will just plug in more prospects and some make it while others get cut loose
The draft is where KD will rely upon for future top players as well as other roles. Surely KD will always have some veterans and once the team is pretty good then he might sign a free agent or try to trade for a top player
I would be surprised if anyone on the board disagrees with this. Pretty much this is how KD will operate/construct the roster - jhawk59

Na the last month or so there were count downs here using players numbers, too complicated to explain.
Whenever i have to explain a joke, I assume it wasn't funny

We are Brent Seabrook + Patrick Sharp + Steve Smith days away from opening night if that helps. |

You have Bedard, with Nazer, Moore and Greene in the pipeline. I wouldn't give up a first rounder for Pinto, i think someone proposed a 2nd and 4th, that is the max I would do. IMO he projects out as a 3rd line center, and is he defensively responsible enough for that ?
Anyway's Dorion will probably move someone else (Brannstrom, Joseph) in order to sign Pinto. - LAHawk
That's the problem though, theyre in the pipeline and it is difficult to project what type of player they will be at the pro level. Neither are complete players and both will require work.
Pinto has at least proven he can play and score in the NHL. |

Here’s to hoping that Murphy, Tinordi, and Zaitsev aren’t all in the lineup every night. Let the kids play. Korchinski, Kaiser, Vlasic should all get more time than the three bums who won’t be around when the team is relevant again. |

I hope they are in the lineup and find the fountain of youth, play well, and are TDL targets for some teams looking to add D for playoffs. That is the best situation.

St. Catherine's own Alexa Vasko, great niece of Moose, was selected in the PWHPA draft by Toronto.
Am about to photo and list a beautiful copy of a March 1971 Hockey pictorial with Magnuson on the cover for six bucks. |

Zaitsev and Tinordi are UFA's after this year. Zaitsev won't be back, and hopefully the Hawks do not feel the need to resign Tinordi either.
My wish is that T. Johnson plays with Bedard, puts up massive points, and with money retained brings back a second rounder at the TDL. |
