Lol- er Bedard's confidence and ability at cross ice passes in the o-zone through traffic got a bit too contagious with at least one other guy trying it -- it didn't work as well as when 98 was doing it.

Man that kid doesn't just have eyes all over his head -but the coordination to get the biscuit there. Sauce-dar... Need to find someone as an alt face-off option for the PP so you can make 98 the trigger guy in those situations (like more of a longer term idea).

Doesn't look like he can win a face off, so he should play wing, just like Kane.
- Dieselhead

Stop it, he's 18, and he gets back on defense. Really enjoying the team speed as well, the way they are hounding the puck on D.

Playing some PK minutes as well

Kaiser very noticeable in the 1st. Thought Korchinski looked smooth. I thought Bedard was feeling things out early and started to show his skill level more as the period went on.

Kaiser is just flying out there

Exactly what you want to see from a kid who is a bit older and has major college experience.

Crevier just eliminates plays before they even start.

and Savoie could pass for Shaw's brother.

I’m interested is seeing how Lardis, Savoie and Ludwinski do.

Hopefully Ludwinski can stay healthy this season cause he can flat out skate.

Thru 1 period. My first thought as I cussed PBP guy Brand for not saying a damn name for way too long, who are these guys, who has the puck jack-off, was this is what we'll see as Blackhawks hockey in the near future.

Simply said the Hawks were the much faster/quicker group in all 3 zones. We see KD's preference as the overall team speed is excellent and probably their signature for a decade plus. Speed.

Thought Misiak showed excellent balance, showed good IQ too.

What's to say about Kaiser? The closest we've had to Hammer since Hammer?

Dach looks much quicker both upper and lower body than just 2 months ago but I know that can't be true. Kid was useful and interesting.

Lardis always has the look of lets just git jiggy wit it. Explosive player that seems to be thinking being dangerous in all 3 zones. Quick strike mentality with his feet and mind.

It's worth tuning into any contest where Savoie is on the ice. Kid brings a smile to your face the way he flies around ramming into things with speed.

I have to admit I'm excited about the team speed in this game. It doesn't look like any of the prospects are skating in quick sand, i think the blues have between 5 to 10 shots on goal, 5 on 5 hockey

...and ok ... I officially owe 98 now (and Sorensen) for sticking Bedard at the right point spot on that PP faceoff .. and within 10 seconds ... 98 scores. It was probably 5 seconds for all I know - but day-am that was surgical.

Watch if Crevier can be a shut down dman in Rockford. What a great find should he make it on a third pair in Chicago. He can skate well for a big man and had a slapshot which can produce goals per his career so far. Tall he needs more bulk and he may have added some this past off season. Shut down style with his stick wingspan ....thinking if he could become anything like Chara

I think Kaiser has more offensive upside than Hammer. IMO Allen is more the Hammer comp.

How'd the Hawks acquire Ryder Ralston?

Brand sucks. Good feel and call but doesn't he know fans don't know who is who and what number they're wearing!

interesting Misiak is on the 1st unit PP. Bedard, Lardis, Dach, Misiac, KK. Who was the 5th player?

Ludwinski wearing #91? Kid is in the screen shot around the puck on every shift.

The Bedard goal was shot from damn near his belly button between his skates. How the hell do you read that off the stick?

Allen doesn't have the quickness Hammer had. Hammer had a quick first 2-3 steps, especially closing, as does Kaiser IMO..... And yes, much higher offensive upside to Kaiser than Hammer or Allen although Hammer was no hack offensively but he was defense first 98% of the time and took no chances.

Big Allen fan, big, but IMO the style off defensive play and the quicker feet I see Kaiser as having a chance to be Hammer like effective from the red line in.

Stan (or Kyle?) picked him up at a TDL deal with the Avs in 2021 for Carl Soderberg. KFC sighed him this spring after he spent a few years at Notre Dame.
