Many here including myself understand that you build a team through the draft, but some also understand that you need to trade excess for needs, preferably young player(s)coming back. So, going back to Shane Pinto discussion, would you trade for him and what are you giving up? He would slide into 2nd line center for now, and maybe eventually 3rd line as some of the prospects matriculate. He does bring size up the middle.

Seth Jones lobbying to be captain is about the worse reading of the room I have seen in awhile.

They should not give anyone the C for at least two seasons and never, ever, consider Jones for that letter.

Nazar has a strong stick and has a strong lateral game and tremendous offenses instincts, and I don't want to go after Trocheck but I think he wishes he had this kid's foot speed. (Surprised Larkin wasn't his next stretch for Frankie.)

Reichel: fast, skilled, good stick.
Right now all I can say about his potpourri of comporables, I HOPE Lukas can score like any of them, b/c he ain't close to any of them so far.

Ollie Moore is Dylan Larkin BUT a 2nd line Dylan Larkin.
(I get it they both can skate fast.)

Kevin Korchinski needs a comparable where the NHler's main strength is he ability to transport. (If your opinion is also Shea Theodore, so be it! Good for Vegas, and for bad for Ducks to give up on him. Shea has to be considered as one of the top defenders taken from that 2013 that had a few duds go before him elevating himself with Seth Jones, Josh Morissey, and cough, Darnell Nurse b/c the rest off the defenseman in the class petered out.)

Connor Bedard is like Marcel Dionne. You wanna talk about unwillingness to dream big. (How long ago have I been saying I have never seen a puck shot like Bedsy does since Michel Bossy.)

This is the only blog I read....or listen to. Otherwise I refer to experts from TSN, ESPN, and the guys writing about the team for reputable outlets.

Why we still go to this tournament is beyond me. Every year some nobody goon from Minnesota knocks one of our top prospects into oblivion, if not two. Trust the process… F that, play against an org that isn’t actively trying to end your prospects’ careers.
