A couple of those seem to have AHL contracts with Abbotsford.

A bit interesting is that Dmitri Zlodeyev is here. He had played some pre season games with his KHL team already. I was wondering why he isn't listed on EP as having a team yet this year.

Until a deal is done there will be question marks. The more you hear the more it is possible. Tochett even said in a presser this summer EP and JTM seem to be settling their feud. There is something there for sure.

I don't see the Canucks paying big bucks seeing they are not close to contending. EP has not given any positives on being extended here.

My own personal feeling is it could get done but it is not a slam dunk.

I will say JTM seems to have a different mindset this year. Showed up to camp early and in shape, optimistic about the teams training in the offseason. He seems a little more excited.

He will show his stripes ... as they say. I've no doubt he has stretches where he means well, especially after a blow-up ... but his nature will always (imho) come out. Same reason NYR & TBay cut bait.
