When your most hated rival audibly gasps and then chant your name as you get carted off out of respect, think it says it all.

The prospects who were supposed to look good did, great. Too bad on the savoie injury. Was there any reason to even have him in the lineup all 3 games?

Time to get on with the new season. I expect nothing real exciting to come out of camp or preseason. The roster is pretty much set and there isn't any real spots up for grabs. Surprises are fun though

My disappointment in the offseason will be tempered only by winning hockey. By game 25-30 we will know if the problems last year are a problem this year. Better goaltending alone will prevent them from losing 8 in a row again. If we see the same scoring machine we did the first 2/3 of last year it will be at the very least, fun

I still hate leaving it up to the rookie goalie, but here we are. Its playoffs or bust for me and I expect some regression to the mean from our top scorers as well as some progression from power peterka and quinn(when he is healthy).

Im excited for a healthy dahlin, I feel there is yet another level to be had from him. Cant figure out why he hasn't signed yet though

They only had 15F and 8D, couldn't sit everyone.

Kulich, Rosen, Neuchev, and Kisakov sat. Not sure what the 1st two have in common with the second two. Feels like the gave Kulich and Rosen the night off to come into camp rested and take their best shot to make the team.

It most likely was the junior vs pro split yesterday. Savoie and Benson are going back to juniors and the names you listed are scheduled for Rochester.

Adams spent $10mm on Okposo, Girgs, Jost and Greenway, the youth will be injury/emergency call ups. The only forward from Rochester that looks to make the team is Rousek.

Great blog, Dahlin hasn’t signed yet to stir up excitement for the season, it’s a top8 GM tactic.

Based on the fact he was walking around the arena in street clothes, rather than on the way to the hospital, says something positive. There's a certain level of severity that was apparently missed, shouldn't require surgery at least.

Yeah Hopefully, we shall see. Didn't like they said he would miss some TC time. Shoulders are a weird thing, especially if you have already hurt it.

Agreed, worrisome, it just tempered my disappointment that it was missing "some training camp time" rather than a wait and see or worse.

They still need to do a full evaluation. Don’t know the extent of the injury yet.

And it's the Sabres and their medical staff, which means he'll probably be on IR for months, then need season ending surgery.

Give Adams credit on this one, when he said he was going to look at the injuries situation from 2 seasons ago it has improved.

Is it luck, change in how they manage the players health, or does Adams have healing powers with those eyes?
