I started catching onto this kid a few weeks from the draft after skimming through potential 2nd, 3rd round picks. Immediately identified his skillset as something the Sabres are in dire need of throughout the entire organization. Was so jacked when we picked him (and McCarthy as a Clarence kid) - but he's good too.

As of now he looks like a steal of a 5th round pick. If he can improve his offensive game at the next level, we might have a real guy. Very disappointed he can't participate this weekend.
