Is this the new trend here? Invent a scenario to defend KA proactively?

Yes, yes it is

Funny you bring up prospects that could make a push this year and make some decisions harder on Adams. And your rushing them by saying they could make decisions tougher. I really hope Kulich Savoie and Benson make Adams decisions very hard. That's a good problem.

100% agree. Lots of high end talent in the pupeline.

But the only one that showed that he could possibly play in the NHL right now was Kulich. And even that is a question mark.

Could very well be, but that doesn't mean they can't show they have developed and grown there game in the next 3 weeks and give Kevyn second thoughts

Carey Price carried the Canadians to the Stanley Cup while being paid $10mm as well...

So did Vasilevsky for the Bolts 2x. Yet, the Bolts were outed this PO with The same Vasilevsky.
And there are plenty on the other side.
I'd rather spread that money around on other players on a few key positions.

I like how the trade scenario is also the most absurd thing I have seen.

Rousek is ready, he isn't a top 6 prospect though, more like 4th liner, maybe 3rd. He's ready.
It's why I roll my eyes when they say Girgs nor Okposo is blocking no one. They may both be forcing Greenway to play on the 3rd when he may be better suited on the 4th as well.

There are several folks on here who have been ripping KA apart, proactively, all goddang summer long. Every day. Relentlessly. Over and over. Ad f'ing nauseum.

If I check HB and never see another post containing the words, "yacht, cooking, dinner, 82 points, savior, neighbor, top-5 GM, vacation, Tatar, outboard motor, or 12 years"...it will still be too soon.

Yeah, I would have liked to see Strbak, he was a nice get. Likes to push people to the outside, very good with his angles. Might be a better version of Samuelsson.
Edit: Didn't see your post above

- Buff36

I may be wrong but I think college eliminates McCarthy and strbak from being able to participate.

1)I'd like a power winger myself. A big, fast, guy who can bang in 20-25 G's and who enjoys engaging in the physical game.
2) a definitive 2RhD who can skate well and is on the tall side for reach. A guy, who plays a reliable D game and is solid on the PK. This remains my #1 want.

I wouldn't mind also landing a 1B G, but in the $3-$4m range. If Logan Thompson is truly available, he could be a target.

Good wants, what do you think the cost to acquire those pieces would be? Without disturbing the existing $8.7mm cap space, how would you fit these players into the cap?

Lawson Crouse would have fit #1 nicely.

20 -25 goal power forwards don't grow on trees.

I like crouse, what's the cost?

Agree on Rousek. He is ready. For this year KA choose girgs and okposo because they have the leadership Rousek does not.

If injury in bottom 6 he fills perfectly. Its a win win. He obviously seen it the same way because he did sign a 2 year extension.

Think the extension was even after girgs and okposo signed. Could of been a baby about it but maybe he sees and trusts the plan KA has even if slightly flawed

I'd take 20 from him if he could manage his +/- down to even, or positive.

Think everyone would, maybe Krebs could be that 200ft Center that can help him.
