Are you going to hold the same opinion if Power is equally as demanding on his next deal?
- kingcong39

Power is soft as butter. I'll expect him to cave and take whatever deal is offered with little resistance.

I'm just guessing, but a shorter deal should be significantly less $ then a max deal .

Max feels like it should be way more.

You had 5 years 50ish, what's 8 look like?

- Boss34

Your feelings are irrelevant to monetary negotiations. Cale Makar and Matthews have set the market.

Nope. 12 years, boat, dinner, vacation, wherearetheyallgonnafit, holes, 82 points, top 5 gm

over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and...............

Am I doing this right?

And he’s responsible for adding Power, Benson, Savoie, Rosen, Kulich and Levi.

Meanwhile signing Tage, Cozens, and I would think Dahlin reasonably soon all meanwhile having a very healthy cap situation moving forward.

Sun in shining, we should enjoy it

- Swedish_Jesus

Power is the only one who’s proven a single iota of value so far.

Prospect brain is an infectious disease plaguing this fan base.

Savoie was supposedly a super steal at #8 and it’s now his DY+1 year and we’re worried he isn’t close to NHL ready.

How many years down the road until Benson makes an impact?

Is Savoie or Benson more valuable than the Sabres making the playoffs the past 2 seasons?
- washedup20

To win a cup you need depth and elite talent.

So yes, I think they are more valuable in the grand scheme of things.

Let’s revisit this in 2-3 years and see if I’m right

Dahlin was thought to be soft as butter at one time as well.

He's probably teaching Power to be tougher already.

What an interesting blog it would be to take a stab at mapping out the projected lineup over the next several season and explain the associated logic of player/prospect placement on said rosters.

Instead, I am holding in my anxiety about who is selected as the best to wear #11 in team history.

Thanks to a freak injury ? That’s pure circumstance than anything else.

Savoie was going to be afforded the same opportunity as Rosen and Kulich to make the team this year

Ristolainen must've signed an unending array of items for you.

Did he also attend the birthday party of each of your children as well?

Which is going to hurt his development or st the very least delay it.

And I’m not sure you can call an undersized forward getting hit a “freak” accident.

Here’s Adams first rounders

Quinn
Power
Rosen
Kulich
Savoie
Benson
Ostlund

I'm going
5 @ $48.573
He's not signing 8 years...taking the smart Matthews / Marner tactic

Good post

Not much of a difference between 10.4 million and 11.2

I was thinking the gap would be larger . Just an opinion.

5yr 52/52.5mill or 8yr 92mill
In 3 years 12mill could be the going rate for top pair D

Do you expect every 1st rounder to play in the NHL in the year of their draft?
