Yeah the way it drops the pitch of the singing voice as the images go wrong lol...the way AI distorts bodies and symbols is really disconcerting.

You know I have a Twitter account, but never really use it. Like, I use it to look at crap that people post on Twitter, but I'm following 5 people, have 0 followers, and have blocked 3 - one of those 3 is James Tanner's Editor-in-Leaf account (another is Elon Musk, but apparently that doesn't matter because I still his garbage).
I don't like the Martin Jones signing - but only because I absolutely do not like Martin Jones as a goalie. I happen to agree with Tanner that we might have been better off with any of our prospects over him - but the one thing that Jones has in abundance: he's been here and he's done it. He clearly doesn't get rattled by bad performances. He might not be good, but he doesn't look scared in net - if you need a guy as your 3rd string goalie who's done it before, Jones at least offers that.
If, during training camp, another team has an injury happen to their starter or backup then there's a decent chance that Jones does get taken. But who cares? If he does or doesn't, as long as he isn't really the answer in net, then he might help the young guys learn what it takes to train properly, live properly, eat properly, blah, blah, blah. The best thing Babcock ever did espouse, and I liked it, was that you have to "be a good pro". He wasn't wrong about that. It's a simple, but accurate message.

30+ year lease for the Hurricanes could be announced on Tuesday. Deal includes:
Development rights to 81 acres surrounding the arena, with plans for an indoor/outdoor theatre, two hotels, bars and restaurants, and an affordable housing development.
$300 million worth of renovations to PNC arena to begin next summer.
$21 million annually for repairs and upgrades to the building.

That 2nd pairing is gonna much watch TV. I'm calling it now, at least 5 of the top 10 goal highlights will be against them.

I never quite understood why they traded away Hronek. He would make that defensive unit look much better. You'd have to assume they are expecting Edvinsson to fully graduate this season. But still....

3rd party team retains 50%. Leafs send Timmins to said team.
Leafs send Gambrell through waivers and the team has 8K in cap space after LTIR(team gets as close to the cap as possible to maximize LTIR pool) - Santo_44

That’s at least 30 more years til they move the team to Saskatoon.
