I would think that’s a bit misleading with matthews Marner and nylander being roughly 1500 of those games. But it is still double what we have drafted play in. But I suppose people still blow top 10 picks. That Derek Pouliot pick haha

I’d have to go based on what I need. If I just drafted geno or ovi the year prior I would be looking to give one his centreman and one his winger. Now if it’s year one of a tank and you’ve just bottomed out as a team… I’d have to go with eichel.

Nah I’d still rather have Eichel. Getting a 26 year old 1C changes our outlook from a top down rebuild to a transition. As great as Marner is 1C is the most important and hardest to acquire piece to have in your organization if you want to be competitive so tie goes to the runner.

hahah brutal....if they picked him that year there would be a completely different ripple effect to the team and seasons that came after that draft...who knows what would of happened, possibly no B2B cups, maybe more cups..and who knows what what we're talking about this summer, most likely not EK.

He had 6 votes to Marners 480...Hischier had 804..Bergeron 1914. I had no idea just how many votes there were until today when I looked up. 5000+ across 1st to 5th
