Yeah I made a mistake this morning when I picked the wrong first name with the right last name because I was rushing

But the one you posted you could have used Ben Bishop for OTT and either STL/TBL and Brannstrom for OTT/VGK nevermind on Brannstrom and Joseph for OTT/TBL

I had him for Tampa Ottawa

I could not think of a St Louis/Ottawa or a Vegas/Ottawa while dojng it, and then of course Mark Stone comes to me after I fail

Yeah I'd be absolute garbage at any other sport

The NBA one could just be "list 9 current NBA players" and I'm honestly not sure I could do it

Doing the NHL one was harder than I thought. Then again, I didnt realize the answers were anyone from history. I thought there was a right and wrong from recent hockey.

https://www.weddlegame.com/ is a fun one for NFL. You have to guess a random player and then it tells you their team, division, conference, height, age, number, position and what you got correct and you narrow it down from there in 8 guesses

Brooks on Laf and remaining roster moves in Post Sports+ today:
(K'Andre) Miller, of course, is back on a two-year deal for an average annual value of $3.872M. Lafreniere, mystifyingly, remains unsigned. As of now, there is no cause for concern. It’s merely a head-scratcher. But if this drags on another couple of weeks, it could become a headache.

The Rangers are five contracts under the league-mandated maximum of 50 within the organization, so that is not a problem, nor is finding a place where he might look to add.

I don’t think this forward roster has enough hard edges to it. I don’t envision the Rangers being pushed around, but I don’t see much physical presence there. I don’t see a forward who would give pause to the opposition. I don’t see players who would arrive with — what did Fred Shero call it? — malice aforethought.

Zack Kassian is still out there. Austin Watson, flaws and all, is, too. So are the more skilled Anders Bjork and Colin White. Max Comtois is also available, though there are mixed reports about the 24-year-old who was not qualified by Anaheim at $2.55 million.

The team is set on the right side of the defense with Adam Fox, Jacob Trouba and Braden Schneider, but there is no organizational depth of which to speak behind that trio. Ty Emberson and Mac Holloway are the next two righties in line unless the team would move Zac Jones to his off side in case of an emergency.

So if Ethan Bear and/or Cal Foote is still without a contract early next month, it would not be the worst idea to attempt to sign either

Hey Jan, not trying to be a troll but legit the Rangers are too soft and I don't understand what happened in Gotham. And I say that as a fan of a team that has played baby diaper poo soft for several years; and I still think it's a big issue for the Devils.

After the Tom Wilson fiasco, you guys went out and got Ryan Reaves and bulked up the roster a bit. A lot of your guys started playing with more of an edge. Even the soft guys like the Bread Man seemed comfortable taking liberties. As a Devil fan it annoyed me, but I thought it worked out for you guys quite well. Then you had a pretty epic playoff run.

This year we play you and it felt like the Rangers were trying to play tough... but no Reaves and no real bite. So really even our soft team pushed back enough that it became a non-factor. Outside of the obligatory Jason Trouba head shot there was mostly just after the whistle cheap shots in the creases and junk like that. I'm not arguing for needing more violence between our clubs, but I don't get why you guy went on a mission that looked pretty successful and then decided get rid of Reaves after he delivered? I get he's not good at hockey, but still to hear you (understandably) now say team softness is a concern seems ironic...

To the extent "softness" is even a real concern, it was not remedied by Reaves because, like you said, he cannot play hockey. I love the guy and he was a great presence to have, but he was a net negative out there and the "deterrent" factor is not really a thing. Guys that can play hockey well and have an edge would be a different story. But again, I don't know how big of a need that really is on this team.

Look, Trouba put a hell of a lick on Meier (regardless of clean or not clean opinions) and there was zero response from our side. Carolina pushed us around a lot. Maybe the softness issues doesn't exactly equate to fighting; but successful teams play a heavy game in playoffs. Ultimately skill is the biggest factor, but I feel like this is a real concern. Less so in the regular season.

There was a far deeper issue with the team in the playoffs. You dont go from 5-1 in consecutive games to barely being existent. Its been discussed over and over and most here agree there that the Rangers success was despite GG and not because of him. He did a few good things, but overall his game management and play philosophy was poor.

Lindy made the adjustments and the Devils came to play. GG sat back, smiled and said its ok. Simple as that, GG lost the trust of the guys.

Do I think the Rangers could benefit from some additional toughness, yes I do. Do I think it played any role in the loss to your team, nope not at all. NJ made the adjustment, the Rangers didn't, plain and simple.

Reaves made an impact initially and then rode the bench for a reason. He had the same impact in Minnesota off the bat and then it wore off. Maybe Toronto gets a better return, but who is willing to bet on that, especially seeing the contract he received.

Pitlick won't be pushed around. Bonino isn't a fighter but can play with an edge. Belzile if he makes the squad. Unless they import a power forward for the top-six, that always will be a concern. But if someone opts to piss off Kreider, good luck

I dont know too much about Cuylle's off the puck play, but he definitely has the size to be a problem out there.

the Rangers top 6-8, lack team speed making an effective forecheck very difficult. Because of this, teams are able to exit the defensive zone easily with an effective 1st pass. Hughes and company exploited this weakness once they calmed down and used their speed to dismantle the Rangers.

All that said, if Panarin pots that clean breakaway in the 1st period of game 3, things could have been very different.
