I don't see how they add anyone without it being dollar in dollar out and there isn't much fat trim. - Tojo.
At this point they are relying on DOC, Nylander, or Puustinen to make a big jump. That or hoping one of Hinostroza/Zohorna/Johnsson has a career year. I think Dubas did the same thing with goaltending. He signed a bunch of guys that have a chance of breaking out here that could easily be buried. |

My dream off-season would conclude if Dubas screwed the rangers tomorrow and offer sheeted lafreniere.
Come play on Sid’s wing for a few weeks and learn from him, then see if you can stick in the top six. Knock smith down so we have a third line player on a third line.
LTIR Carter to make it happen.
I’m asking for too much |

Carter LTIR at deadline to "rest up for playoffs" Zucker in at 40% retained
Could LTIR almost anyone if they have a nagging injury. Cats out of the bag that the NHL doesn't GAF about it

Should be...fun?

Congrats Pens fans - you have suffered enough with the gong show. Dubas (so far) has been your ABSOLUTE greatest pick up. |

That would be hilarious. If they did do that worst case scenario is Alexis ends up on our third line. Why haven't the Rangers signed him yet? |

First Vic gets his wish of trading our bad players for good players, and now this! Feels like Feds has been saying this for at least 5 years. |

Given what went down yesterday, I'm holding out hope for the Carter equipment allergy. |

I am hoping we sign Tatar, Comtois or make a trade for a forward who potentially could fill in until Jake comes back from injury.

Even 50-60 points from EK on top of how he can transition and get the puck up the ice would be a huge upgrade to what we mostly saw last season. He is exactly what Sully likes and wants. Also, the forward additions are more of what he likes. This is going to take some time off of Tanger too. Tanger will be fresher. His health is on track to be much better than last season. There's no way f'n strokes and death of a parent didnt F with his overall game, he had a career year the season before last. |

Agreed, Karlsson was the sole acquisition that could help us the most. |

I thought Nylander looked really good on Geno's line when there last season...just didnt bury his chances...
EDIT: 9 games and their underlying stats were very, very good....

EDIT2: Nylander's underlying numbers in general, without Geno, were fantastic as well |

Interesting, seems he's a good third line winger who can jump up for the injuries. |
