Yup, like most 'journalism' these days, atrocious in every manner. Having said that, the Canucks really do need to have a successful season this year for many reasons including keeping Pouty happy and wanting to stay. Should be a very interesting season, looking forward to it. Stop coddling me. - Marwood
Why would he want to stay in a place where he's already been labelled 'Pouty'. This guy played pissed off last year, might even play better this year and is going to stick it to Vancouver after that ... and I don't blame him.

Don’t all the Canucks read HB? I’m sure Allvin should with all our brilliant ideas…

Andy Strickland on Cam and Strick today said it’s likely “5 players” will be facing NHL suspensions for their involvement in the 2018 WJC sexual assault scandal. Said he knows the names but won’t say them now.

Pouty went well beyond HB at it's peak when he had a tough year, the contract holdout and the wrist injury. I'd be very surprised if he wasn't at least aware of it, even if it's just his buddies back home ribbing him about it.
It was all over social media, I recall seeing fan signs in and around a game in van and wouldn't be surprised if the papers at least referenced it ... maybe not though. Hopefully not after the sedin sister days. |

Myers still sucks but there are more sucky.
and the other side of the list

Jeebus, now I see why everyone is pining for Pesce!
Myers may not be as frequent statistically but they just look so bad on the eye test ... maybe partly because of his size and reach that he has no idea how to use. |

It might also have to do with forwards and system they play also as Burns and Slavin are also very high on the list.
It's not real good that Myers is in the bottom 40 worst for that though and he is making 6m a season but at the same time, there are more expensive players further up that list.
Maybe Myers and Soucey will play together on the 3rd pairing and do well. Myers used to do well when he was behind Trouba and Buff. Soucey the same has played well when playing against bottom 6 competition but not so much against top 6. |

I think you are over guessing the power of Hockey Buzz.
The world EP lives in is standing ovations at the arena. Maybe if we ask Rubey and Marwood to stop calling him Pouty then he will sign long term?
I think if Petey has any ill feelings about the Canucks it would be more at JTM and not the 30 of us on HB.

Well like I said, not just HB. I saw it on social media, I'm sure he came across some of those posts. Anyway ...
What did JTM do? |

That was also a thing. I believe it became a thing after Rodin was injured early in the season, with Rodin I remember they were killing it in the preseason against weak competition. |
