Excellent book, though quite depressing.

no the champagne was apparently pretty good champagne. schramsburg, i think they were saying? i probably butchered the spelling if i even got the name right. but i don't drink champagne. i had a nice 6 pack of sierra nevada hazy little thing in the fridge but we ordered it for delivery and it turned out it was like the oldest 6 pack in the store. 2022 for god's sake! bastards.

so i drank the champagne. and i'm already sorry.

personally the difference for me is simply where it's from, and the price tag... I find sparkling wines are pretty much all the same, not a big fan anyway lol.

if you have any, a low sugar gatorade could help replenishing your electrolytes

later i had some freixenet, which is just a regular one. but that's definitely champagne. it wasn't as good as the expensive one but neither one was really what i'd call delicious.



i also had 2 kane head high IPAs and a real good cubano sandwich at kid rips, which totally cancels out the overall girliness of drinking sparkling wine later.

don't want to be "that guy", but Freixenet isn't champagne either, the only real one is the one made in the actual region of Champagne, in France.
