j'veux ben la, but thats a great answer if the ranking are like one is putting us 2nd, the other one 6th

2nd and 18th is just plain stupid

- Xizord

Well Symba was mostly kidding, we should be much higher than 18th.

But we won't be 2nd on his list. I can guarantee you that.

Red Wings expected to put Filip Zadina on waivers to terminate his contract

The belief is Zadina is prepared to walk away from the money and not contest the move. According to several sources, in recent conversations, the player made it very clear he would not report if sent to the AHL next season.

He had a good run, made a lot of money, good time to go out.

I'd do the same.

I'm sure he would've liked winning a cup though, but yeah he's been coaching for a while now, wouldn't want to turn into another Paul Maurice...

yep, we often forget how these guys work extremely long days, like 12h a day every day, and that is when there's no game. must not be easy to find sleep when you hit the sack. well paid, but they deserved every penny.

When you take in NHL + Junior/Minors, not sure how these guys last 20+ years.... the travelling and the hours and the poop you take from media and fans (sometimes deserved, sometimes not).

Seems insane to me.

But I guess if you love doing it, it is worth it.

protesters from Just Stop Oil interrupted a tennis match at Wimbledon, throwing confetti on the court...

I'm glad they're attacking those who are most responsible for oil pollution.

Yeah, more for the coaches who slog through junior or the echl for years on end for likely poop money and still get up to do it again the next year.

Same can be said for some of those players, too, I guess.

Someone killed a tree to make that confetti....

That being said, I do not mind harmless protests. Not a fan of the ones who tried to ruin works of art and such a few months back.

I guess it's "harmless", except for the match interruption, but I also find it's a bit dumb. probably still smarter than throwing tomato soup at works of art lol.

they threw soup at it, but I think they only hit the protective glass, the art wasn't damaged.
