so the day after,

BOS is not better, need a C
TOR is in trouble, need a GM
FLA, TB, BUF and MTL, pretty much even,
OTT and DET got a bit better

should be fun!

They are certainly not better than they were and they have yet to give Matthews/Nylander their expected raises.

You have to remember, he says this every year. Proclaimed det, ott, buf, tb, fla and bos were better than them last year around this time.

I'm a life long Knights fan, but I know a professional leafs hater when I see one.

Savard gone next year, Matthson in a few years, kids move up and the 5 from last year have 2-3 years under their belt.

This looks to me like a potential best D corps in the league - like how the Predators had their big young 5 til they (frank)ed that up.

it's curious why a lifelong knights fan would remember such specific things that were said about the laffs.

the only concern I have is how they'll manage to add elite goal-scoring if it isn't through the draft... I know people say wingers are easy to acquire but pure goal scorers aren't always available for trade, teams usually want to keep those.

Lias Andersson? Isnt he the guy that threw the silver medal to the stands as he was pissed of losing? Come on KH, what kind of a signing is this?

CC and Slaf are there, with Suziki, Dach and Newhook to support. And there is a draft or 2 before we have to worry... forwards tend to develop faster for the most part, even if they are not great defensively (at first). But if you have built up your defence, then a lot of that is not so much of an issue.

I am more worried about who is in net than scoring forwards.

yeah, I guess they already have a few guys who can put the puck in the net, with a nice supporting cast, but Caufield is probably the only pure sniper on the roster, would be nice if they could add another player of the same mould.

it's a 2-way contract, probably AHL-bound.

also, just because he did some stupid poop 5 years ago doesn't mean he can't learn from his mistakes.

Wonder if he can throw CC into the stands?

About the same weight.

It's a 2 way, so he may well spend his season on the Rocket.
